I successfully updated my O2 XDA Mini from:

ROM Version: 1.11.00 WWE
ROM Date: 03/14/05
Radio Version: 1.12.00
Protocol Version: 1337.42
ExtROM Version: 1.11.992 WWE

to

ROM Date: 05/28/05
Radio Version: 1.12.00

ExtROM Version: 1.12.152 WWE

Thanks to all for posting out your experiences, was really good help for me

Oh and I was just upgrading just for the heck of it :shock:

Where did you get the 1.12 ROM from? I dont think its out on the O2 site for India.

from the XDA ftp, where else?
I used ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Magician/Shipped_ROMS/WWE_11200_152_11200.exe

There are many other ROM's in there which you can try out if you want :roll:
I just did it for the heck of it like i said earlier (If you wont break it you wouldn know how to fix it :wink

T-Mobile is just a service provider. Your phone is still the same
Do a Hard Reset and then Soft Reset after the Screen Alignment is done.

ROM on HTTP Server ???

any body can tell me the address for download ROM update in HTTP server ?

I can't download from FTP server....

1. upgrading ROM version to 1.12
2. upgrading Radio version to 1.13
3. Big Storage after steps 1 and 2

Dont worry. Your phone will still work. Just ignore the TMobile thing.

Hi I have a question. My Rom version is 1.11.00 WWE and I did the Big Storage trick before so I dont have the ExtRom now.

If I upgrade to this new ROM versions, will I get a ExtROM back again or I still have the Big Storage?

dinoalbert, everytime you install a new ROM you will have to do the BigStorage hack every time. A new ROM will always have the Extended ROM embedded in it.

Did you backup your old Extended_ROM?
I dont remember the CAB file name, but you gotta install that file to get O2 Connect. I think it was O2_Base or somethin

Also, is it just me or did anyone experience hang-ups after upgrading to Radio 1.13. Was like a hanging for a sec, while I m listening/watching music/movie and if I click on any other application. Downgraded my Radio to 1.12.10 right now and all is well.

my ROM wld be the oldest i gezz.. i use 1.01.. after yr link, i downloaded the 44MB exe file.. now after i execute, it says country ID error.. Im in de same country of u man.. im frm chennai.. help me.. how to move.. and details abt any advancement in 1.12 from 1.01 wld also be appreciated.. Thanx in advance...
