About the ROM
i'm a big lover of the more stock looking Android better known as AOSP. unfortunately, the Google Play Edition is not actual AOSP since it runs on a TW Kernel. for me, though, this is close enough. both of the following ROMs are good bases with little tweaking done. i have made personal changes in each to a few apps as well as removed some google apps that can be downloaded via market. both deodexed by me. enough talk...
4.3/4.4 pulled from my phone (i created an odexed 4.2.2 build for myself. i then modded the OTA updater-scripts to keep it from checking/flashing things that weren't necessary and flashed in recovery)
4.2.2 pulled from m3dd0g's thread

Installation Instructions:
you need a custom Recovery installed
this will not wipe your internal sd-card

Download ROM to SD card
Reboot into recovery
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache

Flash ROM (this process may take a minute or two, be patient!)
Reboot and enjoy
note*** when booting out of recovery, always select NO - 4.3+

1. Q. How do I disable OTA notifications?

2. Q. Can you use this on ATT?
A. Yes. Please flash the "ATT Specific CSC" zip towards the bottom of OP

3. Q. How do I disable LTE?
A. By pressing *#2263# you can force which Band you want to connect to

4. Q. In v2 (and above) when booting out of Recovery it says "ROM may flash stock recovery on boot. Fix?".

A. It is well known and documented that Chromium Webview in 4.4 has caused issues with the AOSP Browser in 4.4. There's nothing that can be done about this at this time.

there's no root for it yet, but i do have the files. this will get updated to 4.3 but not the leak. i'll wait until Google officially releases it for GE. i believe they had SamMobile pull the link after i snagged it because it likely has bugs. i saw a lot mention their battery was draining fast.

Can't wait for that one. Is there a way to use the hover feature in these roms, because if you type *#0*# in the dialer and press Hover Test it actually works?

yeah it's zippy, man. pretty sure this is the first GE ROM with ausdim's kernel baked in and it fliesssss.
i'm sure there's a way to get the hover features to work since this is still TW. may take some finagling. some mods i tried to add in didn't work like in skinned TW ROM. maybe someone will figure it out.
this ROM will get a couple of updates, maybe. i didn't mean to leave Wallet in. it FC's but even if it didn't FC, it still wouldn't work on our device. i know someone who made their own build and it opens but still says you can't use it.

fix Wallet FC. but won't let you sign in [without workaround] after fixing FC anyway.
oh, also get a few reserves. man, derped out on beginning of thread lol

also, nobelium ends up being a repeat alarm tone if you've already downloaded that Noti_Ring_Alarm zip. about to fix that now though. sorry, it's like 3:40AM

edit: alright, deleted nobelium. i'll fix Wallet and add one more thing in a day or two. bed time. let me know if there are any other same sounding notifications/ringtones/alarms. i just did a compare against the names but it seems manufacturers like to rename but use the same sound lol

ditto. only kernel i didn't have that problem with was KT MF4 and this one

I think everyone with compatible variants have!

btw luv ur roms, I used ur stock mdl with debloater for the longest when I first got this phone, take it easy and stay up.

edit: 4.3 Wallet isn't working either so it's just going to be pulled from ROM. the typical workaround might work, iunno. i've never used wallet or had a use for it.
