Phone Model: Xperia L C2105
Phone is Rooted and I downloaded ROM Toolbox Pro recently and messed around with it.
I was at the Build.Prop editor section, where you can change your Ringtone length and stuff, I change 1 that is said to make my apps/games run smoother so I changed the value from 8 to 16 then I restarted my phone.
After that it just stucks at the boot animation where Xperia Colorful waves appear from left to right.
I tried running in safe modes/recovery modes which is Volume down but no effects.
And I can't Off my device when stuck at the boot animation, so I forced shut it by Taking out its battery.
Please Help, I'm new to this. And I miss my phone so badly.:crying:

I researched on other forum posts and find out quite a few have the same problem when they adjusted the Display Depth, they said something about ADB,AndroidSDK and Clock Work Mod. But I havent get a a clear picture and from where I should download them.

Don't you have Sony. PC Companion installed on your computer? If you don't, you should search for it on the Sony website

You can repair your phone using that

Sent from my C2104 using xda app-developers app

I downloaded a few programs that might help me but I'm not sure what to do with them. Please help me check if any of the programs I downloaded can help me.

I followed the instructions exactly here: http://ndroidworkshop.blogspot.com/2013/06/how-to-unbrick-hard-bricked-xperia.html
but I get stuck at some point and the LED noti light turns blue, what do I do now?

If you have flashtool, just flash it with new ftf file..you can find it here, just search for it..and don't forget to untick data box as it will wipe everything that you have installed in your phone.

The blue light is when you're entering fastboot..flashboot doesn't have any light at all..to enter flashboot just turn off your phone and plug in with volume down button pressed..

you are selecting WRONG FTF for your phone WHICH MAY PERMANENTLY BRICK YOUR PHONE!

Download ftf, if you want the latest version search around, however, if you want 4.1.2 UK firmware that I uploaded some time ago, I can provide you the link.

xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2471774

Instructions :
Just SELECT THE RIGHT FTF, c2105/4 or Xperia L as shown in the attachment.

you will need to download firmware and then put the firmware in location:
C:/flastool/firmware

Then select the right firmware and flash

Attach.JPG

Good Luck

---------- Post added at 08:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:57 PM ----------

I also downloaded the Firmware from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2395774
Download Part 1 and 2 but when I extract the files, errors appear. Is it better for me to use the other link above?

check the post above

I MIGHT UPDATE THE 4.2.2 UK FIRMWARE FTF that I have if you can not find it anywhere!

But my phone is still in a boot loop, screen not loading. Is it because I did not Wipe Data and Cache? If I would give it to Sony, would they help repair?

Yes you must wipe data, dalvik cache and cache. Sometimes this is the only reason why your system wouldnot boot up.

Using flashtool is really simple. If you are still confused, do let me know

By doing so everything will be wiped clean? So now I need to re-flash, no problem with that right? Do I need to Press Blu again and relock bootload? Or do I just proceed to flash?

you are selecting WRONG FTF for your phone WHICH MAY PERMANENTLY BRICK YOUR PHONE!

Download ftf, if you want the latest version search around, however, if you want 4.1.2 UK firmware that I uploaded some time ago, I can provide you the link.

    xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2471774

    Instructions :
Just SELECT THE RIGHT FTF, c2105/4 or Xperia L as shown in the attachment.

you will need to download firmware and then put the firmware in location:
    C:/flastool/firmware

Then select the right firmware and flash

    Good Luck

I also downloaded the Firmware from http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2395774
Download Part 1 and 2 but when I extract the files, errors appear. Is it better for me to use the other link above?

    check the post above

I MIGHT UPDATE THE 4.2.2 UK FIRMWARE FTF that I have if you can not find it anywhere!

And I miss my phone so badly.:crying:

just down load firmware for xepria L in this forum, then use flashtool to flash it

    Repair with seus or pcc

Sent from my C2105 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
