314 is definitely better but cannot figure out if it is dual speaker, is there a definite answer? From my ears ir either still just one speaker or the top speaker is definitely quieter then the bottom. Thanks in advance.
You can flash any of the Generic ftfs. Your language is there. Suggest Germany since it has less bloat, although it is easy to remove anyway.

How do I know the country my firmware is ? I bought my D6503 in Brazil although I don't know if my phone is from Europe or Asia.

Unfortunately, the right answer is Vietnam
its been a week since D6503 devices received .314fw but D6502 devices haven't received it,,,,,,,,,,none of them until now
Was the same issue with my last device galaxy note 3!! so I usually flash the generic DE versions as not much bloatwear on these, then when UK rom out I will probably flash that!
Maybe something to do with how the EU sees the UK a moment, who knows?
With the first batch only generic (and I mean non-branded) devices and the largest customer based locations received the latest firmware, all the others (mostly branded phones) will receive it after approved by the providers (=one or two weeks later, based on Sony's update roll-out timing from the past).
Wait.....have patience.
this is the first in recent times that sony hasn't rolled an update for their flagship device in india after releasing their fw for other non-branded/generic devices.......usually they provide updates on the same day of their initial global rollout
In Vietnam, there's no operator which sells Z2 (D6502), Z2 comes from Sony distributor (Sony Store, Sony authorized reseller stores).
At the beginning, Sony did't have enough Z2 because huge number of pre-orders, this time is the same.
But Sony has left us, 402 firmware which has been rolled out in may, now, it's nealy august...

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BEGINNERS
FTF files can be installed on both locked & unlocked bootloaders / No root needed
WARNING!
This process will delete all your user data (all apps installed, your google account ...and so on).
This process will delete the internal SD Card if WIPE (USER)DATA or any PARTITION option is chosen.
This process will NOT delete anything on your microSD card.
Always double-check the wipe options in Flashtool!
This process will NOT unlock your device: if your bootloader is still locked, it will remain locked.
This process will NOT re-lock your device: if your bootloader is already unlocked, it will remain unlocked.
1. Download and install Flashtool on your PC
2. Download the firmware you need (from the list below) and move the .ftf file into the directory C:/Flashtool/firmwares
3. Open Flashtool, click on the lightning symbol ("flash device"), select "Flashmode" and click on "OK"
4. Select the .ftf file of what you downloaded and click on "Flash"
5. Wait for a window to pop up (it may take a few seconds/minutes, just be patient)
6. Now turn off your phone and connect the usb cable to it
7. Push the volume-down button, keep pushing and connect the other end of the usb cable to your PC
8. Once the flashing process has started, you can release the volume button
9. NEVER disconnect the USB cable until it's finished!
10. Turn on and wait for the boot process to complete.
