[Q] UK moto x rooting

hi,

I can't post in the developer sections, so a question here:

Has anyone rooted their UK moto X yet? Comes with 4.4.2

the motorola chat said they expect we'll be able to unlock the bootloader but I'm not holding my breath.

But rooting? Yes please!

as of right now there is no root for 4.4.2 so you have to wait and see if someone finds a way to get root

or wait and see if you can unlock your bootloader.

Yes. You can root your UK moto X.

this i want to hear he is allready on 4.4.2 and he can't unlock his bootloader yet so how is he going to root?

bingo!

just got unlock code

phew.. this looked like it was going to be the first phone in a loooong time I wasn't going to be able to root and it was already hurting!

well now your good to go check out my guide in the general section on how to flash twrp and get root.

Hi, I currently have a uk moto x xt1052 as well. Did the root process turn out ok?
I've read through dray_jrs guides but would like to hear your feedback

piece of cake! Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

then install the xposed framework, gravity box etc and you'll be flying!

@talkingduck I have a UK moto x... How did you get your unlock code please? Tried the Motorola site but says my device is invalid...

Did you paste the numbers in one line correctly? I've heard others getting invalid responses when the numbers aren't in correctly.
