OK, here's a weird one. I actually got the GPS to finally work. The only thing I did differently this time was to flash the latest PBJ kernel after I flashed the ROM. When I booted, GPS locked fairly quickly.

One question/issue I do have. I installed the TW 5x6 launcher. With that, both of the Favorite Contacts widgets seem to cut off. Any suggestions, or is that to be expected with the slightly different launcher? Thanks.

Do you have Multi-Window active in Display? Don't know if this will help, but go to Settings->Display and make sure Multi-Window is checked. If it is, maybe you have an app that is overriding the back button?

Any way to remove the blocking mode notification? I saw the thread for the S3 but a few note 2 users reported it wasnt working for them.

I had the gps issue too. Just do a clean install of scotts vzw version. Fire up gps get a lock in nav or something then leave gps on and reboot to recovery. Wipe everything except your ext sd then install this version. Wipe internal sd and reboot. Go outside fire up navigation let it get a lock and go on with life like normal. First lock might take a minute or two dont freak out. Just wait. After it locks for the first time it will quick lock ever after. I have 4 notes all running this. And all had the gps issue. But they all work fine using the above method. And as a habit I leave all my hardware on. Gps bluetooth wifi nfc and all that shiz. Then I turn everything off after I setup and make sure everything works.

I need some help with a wifi issue. I went to an AOSP ROM and started getting authentication errors on my wifi network at my house. I used my nandroid to go back to cleanrom 4.5 and the issue carried over. My nexus 7 and wife's s3 works fine on wifi. Anyone else ever experience this issue?

I have this EXACT same issue! Haven't been able to find a fix yet. Also, when I'm using tethering, unless my laptop is RIGHT NEXT to the phone, I only have 1 bar on my laptop that shows signal strength. This was also the case with my HP Laptop, Macbook Pro, iPad and son's iPod.

Anyone else?

I have been looking for a fix all day. I have done numerous factory resets, wiped internal storage.. I am starting to think it's a hardware issue. The only thing I have not done is gone back completely to stock. Let me know if you find a fix.

Can't be a hardware issue since it only effects 1 WAP. It was working perfectly before flashing 4.5 for me. I'm not gonna flash back to 4.2.5 though because this ROM is so sweet. Just would like to get the radio week signal fixed...

Video recording causes the camera to become unresponsive. My videos dont save/playback either. Very weird. Anybody else with this? I have it set to save to sd so that might be something I need to look into.

Update:
I changed the storage for camera to internal and it was much faster. Im getting really slow read/write speeds on my sd card. I noticed when I browsed the sd card when plugged into my pc that it was loading really slow. Something to look into...

When listening to music from headphone jack , when I get a message the screen wakes up but it won't turn itself back off no matter how long , and my display time out is at 1 minute

I spend half my day pluging and unpluging my headphones. I dont have any issues. I use stock for music and mort for my audio books. Both screen off like they should. And screen on/off works fine via press. Maybe try a fresh install? I dont restore anything from tibu or anything of the like.

I get great read/write times but I'm running the SD swap script. This way, when I select save to Phone its really going to the SD card anyway. I have both the 4.1 and 4.2 Camera and Gallery installed.

This is a great rom, exactly what i was looking for. I wanted the stock look with more functinality. This is perfect. Anyone recommend a good kernel to go with it for a little battery saving?

    About Installation
    • Do NOT flash Mods or Themes unless they say CleanROM ACE 4.7.0 compatible!!!!
    • Clean flashing is the only recommended flashing method! Anything else may lead to problems!
    • If you have problems go back and wipe data and re-flash. Do not report in the thread until you do so!
    • If you fail to wipe Clean or you choose to restore data / apps or anything else from back up apps like Ti Back up you will suffer from a seriously degraded experience!
    • If you flashed a Mod / Theme or Kernel do NOT report any bugs until you wipe Clean and re-flash with only options included in the ROM!
    • Do it by hand or dont do it at all!
