StockMOD Rom​

A ROM designed to be almost 100% stock, with some (market available) apps removed. Tweaks to performance and memory management to improve the user experience to a lag free smoothness.

Removed Apps

- Chrome
- GMail
- Google Plus
- LG tutorials and mini-apps (eg "prince")
- STK (sim toolkit)
- All demo videos, photos and music

Tweaks

- "High temperature property" turned ON by default
- VM memory settings modified for higher performance
- Build.prop changes to disable some logging, check-in and debug features
- Build.prop changes to the dalvik app cache mechanism
- Build.prop changes to rendering settings
- Software rendering completely removed (shame on you LG, leaving "android 0 0" in the egl.cfg file)
- ondemand governor cpu-frequency-utilisation step changes

Installation
THIS IS ONLY FOR THE INTERNATIONAL D80210b

- Ensure phone is rooted and either CWM or TWRP recovery installed and working
- Make sure you have a safe copy of your phones unique EFS partition on your computer
- Perform a full backup of your current installation
- Download and copy zip to phone storage
- Reboot into recovery
- Wipe Cache and Dalvik cache
- Install the rom or upgrade .zip
- Reboot

During installation the /system partition will be wiped for you. The data and storage partitions will not be changed in any way

v1.06 is a flashable patch .zip that can be applied over v1.0x.

Install then wipe caches before rebooting
