Thank you for the zip =)

I'm having some problems for the update, the message is :
file_getprob: failed to stat "/system/build.prop": No such file or directory

I tryed to make the update with clockworkmod and twrp but I have the same message on both.
Am I the only one ? Perhaps it's an update for the stock recovery ?

When you S-Off/unlock your device like with HTCdev.com it removes some special HTC system folders/files... When updating the official OTA, installer checks these files to check if the phone has 'original' firmware! If the device has been unlocked of course it fails and you cannot install it!

Please dont be stupid to think that on some custom 3rd party FW you will install official updates! :cyclops: Wait for each CFW dev to include this update in their roms and push their own update to use this version of android on the unlocked device!

Official OTA is only for official ROM with locked/s-on device!

You need to update your firmware ( HBOOT, Radio, etc ) before you proceed with the Sense 6 Update package.

Download the firmware.zip linked in the following thread, and follow the instructions to flash it:

I'm still getting errors updating.
Ota_m4_ul_k44_sense60_mr_htc_europe_4.09.401.3-3.10.401.6_release_383386

You can't install the OTA.

After you unlock the bootloader for the first time ( re-locking it doesn't change anything ) you can no longer install OTA updates.

You have to download a stock ROM with the update integrated.

Don't get nervous though, it's easy.

You need to install the Android SDK and the HTC Sync & Drivers, uninstall the Sync Manager.
And then download the sense6_firmware.zip & StockSense6_4...zip & the attached boot.img from the following thread:
http://xdaforums.com/htc-one-mini/development/rom-official-stock-sense-6-rom-firmware-t2817921/

And then follow the exact steps below:

- restart phone in BOOTLOADER and go in BOOTLOADER, FASTBOOT USB Mode , now connect phone to the computer
- open FASTBOOT program and type: fastboot oem rebootRUU
- Wait for the device to reboot to a black screen with an HTC logo
- type: fastboot flash zip sense6_firmware.zip
- When it says it is done in the terminal/cmdprompt execute the following - [The green bar only fills up about 75% of the way]
- type: fastboot reboot-bootloader
- restart phone in recovery
- press button wipe and manually wiping ONLY /data, /cache, dalvik-cache and /system (no more)
- now install rom Stock_Sense6-4.09.401.3.zip
- restart phone in BOOTLOADER and go in BOOTLOADER, FASTBOOT USB Mode
- flash via FASTBOOT the file boot.img in this way: type: fastboot flash boot boot.img
- type: fastboot reboot
- go in recovery mode
- restart phone the rom is installed.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Are you guys certain you can never receive OTA after Unlock?

I made sure to make a full Nandroid system backup right after installing custom recovery (after unlock) on my HTC One M7. When I had to send my phone back for repairs I restored that backup and installed the correct firmware(and stock recovery as part of ) and boom, all OTA updates were installed just fine if I remember correctly.
I think I might have relocked and then removed tampered flag as well as changing to "Locked" and not "Relocked" before doing the OTA's though.

I tried, but since unlocking the bootloader deleted the flashlight.apk and calculator.apk the flashing failed because it checks the files before updating.

Could you provide us with a detailed step by step guide on how you did what you did ?

Well I might as well post the link here for anyone to use. You will find both the nandroid and the needed firmware extracted from the ota here:

    Well, in short terms:

    Downgraded firmware to 1.32
    Restored a nandroid of Stock 4.2.2/Sense 5
    Flashed 4.2.2 Stock recovery
    Installed OTA to 4.3/Sense 5.5
    Installed OTA to 4.4/Sense 5.5
    Installed OTA to 4.4/Sense 6.0
Flashed TWRP and did a backup.
    --> Profit!

The long story is a bit more complicated ;)
The missing apps seem to disappear when you unlock bootloader on 4.3 or 4.4.

    Brilliant! :)
So in the end there was a way to get the data/preload stuff without resorting to hardware modifications, you just saved me lots of valuable time and a broken Mini body :D

Well, whether or not HTC did not on purpose it is a nasty way of making sure people do not get OTA's after unlock.

Thanks for your work. This does probably not work on all models though. My wife has the Asian version, so I doubt this helps me...

Ok, but I will exclude everything I tried that didn't work ?.

I started s-off with unlocked bootloader.
Flashed firmware extracted from the EU OTA found on androidruu.com
Ran the RUU found on androidruu.com
My bootloader was still unlocked after the RUU, so I just flashed twrp again.
Restored a stock 4.2.2 rom found here: https://mega.co.nz/#!ZtEmWZaT!dqCyvEDN1XrL5jh3sAMqvkBdW13yVNYejKEcrSqrlJ0
After successful boot of the rom I flashed stock recovery from the initial OTA again.
Then it was all about installing OTA:s . I had them all downloaded so I flashed them manually from stock recovery.
