undervolting on 2.9.1 doesnt work since there no UV_MV_table specify in the script. Undervolting would only work with 3.0 as he puts back gunslinger kernel to work again. I found gunslinger to be slow but good battery life. The ROM kernel and the modem included in 2.9.1 sits between performance and battery consumption.

Your statement isn't entirely correct. There are many custom kernels that the UV scripts will work with. The 3.0 rom just happens to be bundled with one. Many users experiment with different modem/kernel combinations to find the right fit for their phone. There is no one 'magical' combination that works for everyone.

Edit: I agree with you about the Gunslinger kernel. I've never had any issues using it but a lot of users reported that it doesn't play well with their particular phone.

From what i got prior to 3.0 is Calk was running stock kernels with no init.d support so the scripts weren't working but if you loaded a rogue repacked (which i always did anyways) it worked. Also read it in a thread somewhere.

A general question about volume on the phone.
Is there an app that will separate out the map volume and the rest of the media volume while using bluetooth?
Yesterday I was listening to one of my representatives recorded presentation and the volume was low and I was driving I had to turn the volume all the way up on my car radio.
I had the gps and the voice guidance on. When the navigation spoke it about blew my ears out.
I am looking for a way to specifically lower the navigation volume only.
If anyone here does not know the solution can anyone point me to a forum that I can post this question?

I know what you mean about nav volume but I use a different app for nav and have the same issue when on a phone call. Let me know if you find out anything that is app dependent as well.

Fairly simple, use Sprint WiFi Hotspot, found in the app drawer or under settings.

I'm aware of the battery script. It works as long the kernel support init.d support. I was talking specifically voltage change.

Is there anything I need to do to activate the "awake tweak". I have 3.0, but my phone still takes a good amount of time to turn on and go to the screen lock screen after it's been asleep.

Are you running the stock ROM, or have you installed any tweaks?
I would recommend trying a different kernel anyway. The right one could make a big difference for you in performance and battery life.

First make a nandroid setting of your current setup.
Try the previous rogue release codenamed Desperado. It's in the second thread I sent you above, in the Archive section way down the 1st page.

Is there any way to flash the battery saver script to Phantom ROM? It's what I'm running and it's ICS themed, so I don't feel like hopping back to Calkulin's ROM unless i really need to.

If you're referring to the UV scripts from the OP here, yes you can but you need to also flash a custom kernel first, reboot and then flash the UV script. I think his 4.1 is running a stock kernel.

    Notes about Battery Saver script

    Can be used with any kernels that have init.d support

    It completely eliminates the need for an application to set CPU speeds or profiles
    Easily customizable if you use a text editor(scripts located in /system/etc/init.d)
    It will set Max CPU speed to 800MHz & Min CPU speed to 200MHz when a sleep
    If SetCPU, Overclock Widget, Android Overclock or QuickClock Advanced Overclock are detected, the script is ignored, so it will not affect them
    Awake tweak will speed up the CPU to max speed for 5 secs after waking up to eliminate any lag while unlocking, etc, then it will return to the profiles

    Preset profiles are:
    1.2GHz - 100-85%
    1.0GHz - 84-36%
    800MHz - 35-0%

    And just an FYI, even at 800MHz, the phone still operates very well & smooth but the battery saving are the real benefit
