htc wildfire Touch screen not responding

My Smart phone is htc wildfire 2.2.1 A3333
S on , unroot , working 100% no Problem

After
Step 1- create Gold card (Step 100% work)
Step 2- S Off (Step 100% work)

#Downgrading from Android 2.2.1 Froyo to Android 2.1 Eclair# In this Step 3 is Problem

Step 3- install RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.2_R_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_130814_signed
install done

Start my phone ,launch Android 2.1 Eclair
Problem
"Touch screen not responding or Touch screen Freeze"

1- i can't enable USB Debugging
2- i can't launch clock work mod Because phone NotRoot
3- i can't insall RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.37.405.exe from bootloader error 140 connect (but Connected the phone to your computer via USB cable 100% work and show "Android bootloader interface" in computer)

Hi, i have the same problem after downgrading my 2.2 froyo to 2.1 eclair that rom it's not good! obviously it's freezing your touch screen after u turn on your phone.
Here it's the rom u need to downgrade to 2.1 (eclair) stock!
I also follow the same topic and needs to be corrected the link with rom 2.1 eclair
U have u tap http before the link below because i don't have permission to post external links before i have already 8 post on this forum. It's a bit annoying this rule.. ok fine! do what i tell u!

Because Disabled USB Debugging in Android 2.1 & android unroot"can't long clock work mod"

what i can do to install "RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.25.405.1" into my phone

can i use Android SDK Tools or pg86img.zip

It's freak! I did the same **** like u.. and after i see the touch screen it's not working, i looked for another rom to install i didn't met your problem. I've just launched again the RUU installer and thing goes fine. Yes in this case u can try with Android Sdk Tools..

Been repaired through service center (Sole agent Jovi tronix of Egypt)($26)
i will try again to root and flash cm7

Touch Screen Freeze

Hello...!!!!
Have the same problem...Everything went on fine till the time when i tried installing RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.2_R_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_130814_signed.

Once the installation completed and the phone rebooted the touch screen of the phone froze completely....!!!
I cant move out from the home screen where i have to swipe the screen to go to the home page...and so i am nt able to turn on USB debugging.
Tried to install RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.2_R_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_130814_signed again but in ended up with the same problem.

Dont know what to try next...!!!

Try some other ruu.. Go to wildfire index in development section.

Edit:
I forgot. You wont have usb debugging enabled so you wont be able to install another ruu.

take the rom.zip out of the ruu by following this guide http://xdaforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=486701&d=1294753279 , rename it pg49img.zip boot into bootloader and try flash it from there.

I'm having the same issue with touchpad...
I've tried extracting the ROM like descripted in the guide, tried renaming it both ways, but the HBOOT just doesn't retrieve it.

Did I just kill my friend's Wildfire?

Jeez, my DHD was waaay easier to root, this one got complicated. And it was already S-OFF , so I was like: Great, one step less...

I've this same issue.
Even after re-installing and RUU via the SD card, then trying installing the original stock Froyo, the screen still doesn't work (it also undid all my work on the device).

So now I've a completely unusable device.

It always shows an error ... Do i have to visit the HTC centre ?? My device has been S-OFFed... will they accept?

Had this sorta issues with my wildfire too... If your device is S-OFF, you can downgrade and upgrade at anytime but if not, you can only upgrade.

Boot to HBOOT, connect your USB cable and select FASTBOOT (USB FASTBOOT) and run the RUU... It should go on smoothly from there. And I'd recommend this RUU RUU_Buzz_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.15.707.1_Radio_13.45.55.24_3.35.15.31_release_131306_signed. Hope it helps.

Argh! Nice try! But it still does not work. But let me tell you something weird - the touch screen works for some 5 min every 2 days! Any guesses? Help would be appreciated!

You know what? I had this same issue the night after I posted on here... Give the phone a break... Like a day without putting it on... It should work afterwards. Or If you want a fast break... Open Wildy up and clean the TouchPanel... Remove the screen and heat it under the sun or heat it up with whatever is hot.

Touch screen still not wotking.. The HTC service centre says that they cannot change the software... I have tried around 10 RUU's ... All of them have failed.. I also tried installing using PC49IMG.zip... That also has failed . I have also tried installing Official CM for Wildfire.. That also failed.. What's the next step I should take to recover my phone?

Time to change the digitizer of the phone

.
It should cost around 25$ while HTC guys might charge you 45$-50$.
