This is a port from the HeroC's Cyanogenmod 9 rom by whoshotjr2006 with a few tweaks.

Works with problems:
  • Camcorder preview (won't record)
  • Recent apps displays large previews
  • Bluetooth wont pair

Doesn't work:
  • gps
  • Hardware acceleration

Anything I've missed which is important? Describe the issue in this thread and ill add it to the list.

I can't properly test it at the moment, but on the surface it seems very similar.

anyway when i go to setting from notify menu, there everything works, but i can't get to homescreen.


if i don't install gapps it working better. what gapps are you preffer

the error is harmless. it doesn't do anything. it's because the kernel was poorly packed but that doesn't mean it will not work.

for the language I don't know... I will still continue and make my own mod after porting is done from the same source as this one hence is the same source available for us. Add a little more tweaks from galaxy mini and rc2 will be available.

bad news though, matt's evervolv has alot of problems, thats why i ported from the eris over in heroc land. those red borders arent going to go away, and i could never get camera working with official evervolv for heroc.

id say keep trying to port from eris, they have the most going on. or look here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1693659 (cm9 from source for heroc) and try to port from that and add libs from eligo for eris.

There is a rom already built in the CDMA forums by whoshotjr2006 (great rom btw ;) ) from Cyanogenmod9 that has theme chooser, ive ported it to the gsm and it works quite well if you want me to upload it i will.
But its still quite slow.

    Well judging by the polls, most people want aroma installer, so I will implement it into this rom sometime next week.
    For those of you who think the stock launcher is slow, I will give you the option to change it during installation, ill add themes, ics specific music players and others, beats audio maybe + beats audio icon while playing music;) and probably more. I'm open to new ideas so please tell me.
    Also WiFi should work without flashing the LV1.2 Kernel in the next release, not sure yet though.

    I'll also take a look at high battery drain for those of you with problems with it.

    I've been unable to login to xda for a while, but here I am with a new release and it really flies!!! I can't upload it at the moment but I thought I'd tell everyone the new version has the YouTube fix whoshotjr2006 found from the great guys in the wildfire forum, I've retweaked the internal task killer to be the same as shpongle 3.5 (thanks 1ceb0x), I've fixed the CPU processor settings so you can overclock without any apps, some other tweaks, and this version is fully odexed!!!!!! thanks to harut56 for the help:)

    So, first feedback :


    - Stability :

    This new version is very stable. No FC after 1/2 day of tests.


    - Speed :

    All is fast and smooth. Only the default launcher is quite slow.
    (not a big deal : change it for zeam or launcher pro, and it's damn fast)


    - Themes :

    Themes for CM9 are working. I've tested this one :http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1655946 (very nice)


    - Networks :

    Wi-Fi and 3G are working properly. Bluetooth seems to work (at least partially)

    I don't know about GPS. Will try later with google maps


    - Camera :

    Camera is working.


    - Battery :

    unfortunately, the battery seems to drain fast. Maybe it needs some calibration.
    I'll test the ROM during a few days and see what happens...


    - Apps :

    Stock apps + gapps are working properly. Only gallery needs a fix. Not a problem, quickpic is better.



    Anyway, that's a very good ROM
