What is this?

These are Hboots(blackrose)with different partitions put in cwm flashable zips so that you can flash them easily without using fastboot,pc ....................blah blah.

Procedure

1.Backup your Rom

2.Download your desired rom and put it in your sd card

3.Download the Hboot with correct partition from above for your desired rom and put it in sd card.

4.Format all partitions(except sd card)

5.Flash the HBOOT FIRST(takes less than 1 min)

6.During the process the cache will be formated after that it will start rebooting you should pull off the battery at that time and boot into fastboot and check whether if the partition has changed.Repeat this step if it doesn't change.

7.Wipe all and flash your desired rom

And...You are done :) ;)

How to make flashable zips of any partition!

How to make flashable zips of any partition!

1.Make a .nb0 file (with partition size you require) using Breditor

Note : splHexeditor may not work everytime

2.Rename the "xxxx.nbo" to "hboot.img"

3.Download anyone of the above flashable zip and extract it

4.Replace the "hboot.img" in the zip with the hboot.img you created

5.Compress the files in .zip format

Bam u r finished!!:D:D

Note: Sense Hboot is for Sense roms like Revolution,Hyper sense v4.0 Not for Hyper sense Nova
Toggle Signature should be off.

Users can ask for new hboot partititons

Thanks for the tutorial, but I think you have to specify that the HyperSense hboot is NOT for HyperSense Nova. Some people may go wrong :)

For CM, could you creat one with
150mb-System, 10mb-Cache, 276mb-Data
instead of using the Stock HBoot?
Great stuff! Thanks.

I thought that apps downloaded from Market were saved in cache partition at first. Then when it's installed it's removed from there.

You can add 110/6/320 for OxygeN1mod. Eventually cache can be shrinked even more.

bro can u explain the steps so that it will be useful for all. cos changing recovery to use this flashable hboot zip is a tedious process. and 4ext is a great recovery :)

Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk

Certainly agree with that... ok the steps...

-Install the hboot zip as normal
-4ext will then display message saying "Installation aborted"
-Immediately remove your battery as soon as you see the aborted message appear
-Re-insert your battery and press the power button
-Basically from the moment you switch you nexus back on you don't need to do anything, but to clarify what happens next...
-The android package installer icon will then be displayed followed by a reboot into 4ext
-4ext will then actually install the hboot zip automatically and you will end up at the boot loader screen with your new boot installed

    Hope that helps...

Hello, I'm having an issue with extracting. What Windows program do you guys suggest? 7-Zip, which has never given me problems before, gives me an error when I extract the zips on your first page.

Either way, I have two suggestions if you want to add them:

The new Evervolv, 220/10/206 (nb0 download), and the Jellybean nb0, 260/8/168 (download here).
all the zips were compressed using 7-zip only.
    here you go
    Evervolv JB 260-8-168 https://www.box.com/s/1a8e9a4f78aad37b92b4
    Evervolv New 220-10-206 https://www.box.com/s/9e246f25080cd5984c24

PS- joel pls add them to OP as well :)
