I flashed over kyrillos v10 without wiping data and everything works fine. Including my s2e
I didn t do anything else but my apps go to me ext partition not to my internal memory.unless something else is doing the job other than s2e...

For app2sd try the link2sd app. It works fine for me and it's really simple to use. For adding a gmail account, go to settings, accounts & sync (or something like that) go to your google account and tick the gmail box. You should automaticlly receive your gmail now. And no question is nooby. We're all learning here and regardless of what question we ask, someone, somewhere will consider it to be nooby
I sometimes feel shy to ask devs questions but end of the day, if i ask a question i will learn something new and thats the best thing you can do.

I can't establish a wifi connection... :S It does find networks, but it stucks at "obtaining IP adress".
I flashed the ROM correctly, wiped data, dalvik, and cache twice, and even wiped cache and dalvik before and after flashing Gapps, and latest Arakmar kernel...
Does anyone know something to solve this? Wifi is kinda important to me :S

It works fine at home (WPA2-AES) but not at university (don't know what security protocol is used). So it could be a security protocol compatibility problem ?
I tried in school and it took me a few tries to connect. I had to turn the wifi on and off.
I did that several times, restarted the phone, didn't help...
I'm flashing ROM again now.
After every reboot i need to enable swype from settings....may i know how to solve this...one reboots only a few times a day or hardly not at all but still its annoying...need some fix for this atleast
its working fine here...it retains the settings...maybe you must try reinstalling swype or using a different version.

Now coming to colors earlier on A7 speedx3D used to look as good as on froyo but now it looks so yuck type...nothing is clear at all
possible some texture issues which i am not well versed in tech terms....INSTALLING CF3D also didn't prove to be of any help

thats because a7 had samsung drivers and a8 has openfimg...
you cant really do anything than w8 for a perfect openfimg version
Well, wifi still doesn't work for me, after several restarts, data, cache and dalvik wipes, I even deleted wifi settings from /data/misc...

Well i had problems with wifi too.If your network has its ssid hidden,then wifi doesn' t work.Make sure ssid is broadcasting.What company is your router btw

The netwok is a public network of my university, and it's an open network, so no need to input password when connecting. I have to open the browser and sign in with my univ ID.

Your protocol should be set to TTLS if you are using so called EduRoam.

Fully charge battery with phone on, turn phone off with charger still on, let it continue to charge until it says 100% on the large battery. Then boot into recovery, go to advanced and wipe the battery stats. Then let the battery fully discharge, fully charge, discharge and continue this for a couple of cycles. Should be fine.

Some news about Alpha9 :
- Camera : you can now use a barcode reader or any app that requires camera. It should work.
- Video recording is working with some restrictions : not using hardware codec but software. Audio is not recorded but may be fixed soon.
