I really can't believe that no one has spoke about kairosoft games.

Game Dev Story - Works like a charm!
Gran Prix Story - Works fine, but not as good as Game Dev
Mega Mall Story - Gets a little laggy after you have a huge mall
Little League Story - Works fine, but the game is not so good :x

...They all have Lite Versions in the market :)

I played the game 'avengers ' . Its quiet smooth except at some points on the stick 2.2.1 rom. I works on cm7 @576mhz.
It an action RPG type of sword slashing game. Quiet addictive. Free on market.

Games in my willy

1. Angry Birds (Offcourse)
2. Fruit Ninja (little laggy)
3. Raging Thunder (Sound and performance not upto the mark but playable)
4. Mobile Jario (android version of mario)
5. Pool Master Pro (awesome)

To some its clearly about making money but to others its more about appreciation for the work they do, that's why we get free and paid versions. Just imagine if everyone showed as much contempt for developer's as you do, they would all just keep there work to themselves then you wouldn't have anything to post here leaching thanks from would you?

1. Air control lite
2. Airport mania 1 & 2
3. Bonsai blast
4. Doodle jump
5. Hungry shark
6. Jewel lust (bejweled)
7. Plumber
8. Raging thunder
9. Scooter hero
10. Super stickman golf.

All games runs without any lag.

    Feel free to post names of interesting/addictive games working on HTC Wildfire, for other people to try them. Watch for your game not being listed by other people in this thread.

    Games listed bellow were tested with custom ROM with OCed CPU, not all are going to be playable on stock ROM with stock kernel.

    Games I find interesting and run well on my Wildfire:

    * Jumpy - a "Super Mario"-like game
    * Robo Defense - a "turret defense"- like game
    * ScooterHero
    * Sky Force
    * Zen Table Tennis - a 3d tennis game
    * HyperSpace - a 3d physics game
    * Archipelago - strategy game
    * Slimeball Speedway
    * Abduction!
    * Papa Stacker
    * Scrambled Net
    * Robotic Guitarist (using it as a game :) )
    * Soccer Superstars
    * Mini Army
    * City Jump
    * Atomic Bomber - just a little out of screen size but playable
    * Droid Odissey
    * Squibble
    * Amtalee
    * DynamoKid Touch - a "Super Mario"-like game
    * Legends Arcana - RPG game (need to download additional ~30 mb to SD)

    Zenonia - minimal lag. (Wildpuzzle and CM7)
    Zenonia 2 - very minimal lag. (Wildpuzzle and CM7)
    Pocket Legends - heavy lag. But still playable, if you can bear the 5 FPS rate. (Wildpuzzle)
    Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - force closes when sound is enabled. Just turn it off to be able to play it. (Wildpuzzle)
    Guitar Hero 5 - lags especially when you're not OC'ed. Once OC'ed, it runs smooth. But still lags sometimes. (Wildpuzzle)
    Assassin's Creed - working smoothly. The action button is slightly off the screen, but you can still touch it. (Wildpuzzle)
    Tony Hawk: VERT - working smoothly. (Wildpuzzle)
    The Moron Test - working smoothly. (Wildpuzzle)
    Beats - 1.3b gives lags. But the 1.4b update which I have on my phone, gives almost no lag at all. I can't update to 1.4.2b somehow. (Wildpuzzle and CM7)
    Bubble Blast 2 - working smoothly. (Wildpuzzle and CM7)

    NOTE: flashing OpenglES on your Wildfire will make Zenonia and Beats unplayable. Zenonia will have a blue screen and Beats will have large buttons. I still don't know for other games.
    NOTE2: All games have been played on a 768MHz Wildfire with Wildpuzzle or a CM7 (with JIT on) rom.
