Download :

Download the Xperia_Play_Sense_Signed_ideosdevzack.zip from the release link that follows

Fastboot the kernel included on the build(custom sense kernel)

Backup your /data contents: contacts, apps, sms, etc. or backup via recovery

Move the Xperia_Play_Sense_Signed_ideosdevzack.zip to the root folder of your sdcard.

Enter CWM and:

- Select 'backup and restore -> Backup'

- Select 'wipe data/factory reset' (MUST DO)

- Flash the zip. To do this, Select 'install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard' and select the Xperia_Play_Sense_Signed_ideosdevzack.zip

- Flash gapps if you want them!

Reboot (first boot will take ~5 mins)

Things that are fixed will be pushed to zackconsole, i won't release anything anymore, till verything on xda gets back normal (no complaining users, less offtopic talk etc.)

If you get this going well eventually, you're welcome to use any resized apps from my ROM (Back to the Futureal) in this, just PM me. You could also use one of the Sense 4.1 ROMs from the Desire S or HD section, which uses full sense.

Hopefully I'll be able to test sometime next week. I'm pretty busy at the moment, hopefully this will even boot on CDMA devices.

Looks pretty sweet but a lot of the libs aren't being loaded at boot. I attached a logcat of it booting. And as a note my R800x is different only in terms of the 3g network which is CDMA (Verizon) so the android.phone process may be particularly unstable for me but don't worry about it, I'll work on it once the rom is more stable. Just figured I'd let you know in case you didn't.

not bad..not bad at all! i love sense! and on the xperia play its surprising fast for a alpha all i need is wifi, sd mounting and camera and i'am good! i am new at developing and only made one rom but i will do everything i can to get this working!

also i can use some help installing the wifi drivers..i am not familiar with the Sense OS. i installed them standard android style but i think htc puts them somewhere else

Drivers for WiFi are in the modules, WPA_supplicant and libhardware_legacy.so from memory

I think that lib is HTC devices only. What does the log say when you try to turn WiFi on?

Libhardware-legacy.so is in /lib

You need vold, vold.conf and maybe more from the play I believe
