Pretty sure it is because of theme chooser. Works well here on my build

Maybe? Because I enabled translucent layouts on my Instagram app and this happened to a small amount of users. What's confusing is that I posted (this) thread in n5 section so I expected it to work like mine.
This is odd to me.
I don't know if it will be too complicated, but it would be incredibly awesome if you could add some generic hotplug control, that would make it stand apart!
I'm using this ROM

with it I'm using a theme named "Shift UI Green"
I'm using and xposed framework and its modules as well
I have tried switching to stock theme
still same problem
but then I found the problem
the problem was due to xposed module
I disabled xposed module and the app was working fine
great looking app

Now it's been a while since there was something going on here, so is development dead? Would be really sad if so!

I have many things to implement and I am going to have to redesign this app but sadly I cannot due to the broken PC issue.
I may or probably will resume this project when I get a new PC. Until then. Sorry friend.

(OK that was mad), I mean great to here that you want to continue! I love the design of the app, simple and clean, and it's just incredibly easy to use, you don't have to grapple with a clustered UI. So I hope you'll get a new computer very soon, I wish you the best luck!

Actually, I found a Material app with a dark theme. Kind of like this I guess. Just dark where the white is.
