Here is a download link for 4.4.2 FRANCE GENERIC version, downloaded from XperiFirm and bundled in Flashtool. Flash this ftf in flashtool :) Enjoy your 4.4.2.

Don't kill my google drive with downloading, I will post MEGA link in 2 hours :)

Any flashtool firmware file (FTF) linked here CAN be installed on LOCKED BOOTLOADER. Those are official Sony firmwares, instead of PC Companion, they are being installed from Flashtool..

The only difference I think is the customization language, when you first start the phone it will come in russian/french, depending on the country of the rom... If i don't see the Customized_ES in XperiFirm until tonight, i'll flash this french version :p

Guys, I've got some questions about that ROM.

1. Could you guys post some simple instructions on how to flash this ROM onto my M2? I'm still kind of a noob when it comes to the Android world.
2. Will everything work normally if I'd like to use this ROM on my M2 in a Polish network and would like to use Polish language? Since both FR and PL are European countries I guess there should be no problem, but it never hurts to ask. :)

Just flashed, and some other people at HTCMANIA.com (spanish forum) flashed it too. Thanks OP, I prefer french rom than russian, it has less bloatware! lol

You are welcome, I hope that download went ok, its first time for me to share that big file through Mega or Drive... :)

Yes, everything went like a charm when downloading, and flash and first boot took a little longer than expected, but now everything is ok and fast [emoji16]
And at the forum nobody is reporting any problem too, so congrats for your upload!

There should be no problem, since I am using the same software...so far, everything works as it should. This firmware creation process is quite straight forward, anyone could do it..anyway, here is a list of available firmwares...so if there is anyone you want to have, let me know, I'll put it together :)

I'm uploading M2 2303 4.4.2 Mobitel (Slovenia) and Virgin Mobile (UK) firmwares...when they are online, I'll post download links here :)
