Instructions and Downloads:

Support:

Support for our tools is via IRC channel #unlimited on freenode ONLY. If you do not have an IRC client you can use this link.

We DO NOT provide support, instructions, or downloads via XDA. Please see our website: http://unlimited.io

Using how-to guides, "kits" and using other instructions on XDA to S-OFF your device is not recommended and will not be supported by Team Unlimited. If you want the best experience and results - go direct to the source. Dealing with support issues through the forums is inefficient and posts may get lost in long support threads, of which we would have too many to actively monitor. We have therefore decided that all support should be through our IRC channel. This will allow us to help you in real-time and through the whole process.

Thank you so much for this awesome development!
I am going to try this as soon as possible

EDIT:

I got stuck in the Qualcomm DLoad mode after trying the first time and had a hard time getting out.
When you are also stuck in DLOAD mode you could try the following steps:
- Remove USB Cable
- Remove SDCard
- Do the wire trick, but toch only ONCE!
- Attach the device to your pc and you should see that it is in ADB mode now.
- Also on the screen you should see Juopunut with an arrow
- Put your SDCard back in the device
- Run controlbear.exe -r
Now the device should boot properly
-> if it doesn't try the next step on this page http://unlimited.io/jbtroubleshooting.htm - search for "ROM / Data Recovery:" and procceed with step 2
-> if everything else fails just go to the IRC and ask for help, hyuh is a genius!
-> IRC here: http://unlimited.io/support.htm
To get S-OFF you will require another SDCard as it appaers your SDCard is not compatible with this method.
I had a VERY cheap 2GB card lying around and used it.
This time it did work flawlessly

As I already said: Full credit for this solution gues to Hyuh
Thanks Man!

Hmmm something went wrong..
My device wont boot anymore..
I think it is my own fault, but still would love some assisstance.

The Controlbear output was to do the wire trick,
So I did, or I tried..
It installed a Qualcomm Dload device.
After that, nothing.
It just kept resetting the connection.

Now my device won't turn on.
Connecting it gives me no in or output at all
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

http://unlimited.io/support.htm is the place you'll get help.
however, i think maybe there's something wrong in the tool itself...check with DNarsingh
he had issues as well.

a good chance you'll be needing this, but not sure.

This is exactly what happened to me, I went on the support IRC and they told me to hold the power button for 30 seconds, and when I did, my tablet booted into fastboot and I just ran the program again, this time with success.

I think my problem was the wire I was using. I was using a twist tie, but after I got it to boot up again, I switched to a paper clip wrapped in scotch tape and it worked fine.

Just to be sure... There is no practical advantage of S-OFF (for non-dev) for the Jetstream now isn't it?

From what I have understood by browsing and going through the other forums on devices like the HTC Flyer, I have found there is 1 use of being s-off. That is after flashing a rom from Recovery, we need not flash the boot kernel as we do now with the Jetstream. That is what my experience was on a S-OFF Flyer. Not sure if the same applies to Jetstream or not as I have not yet got it S-OFF and am waiting to see if it would be of any advantage besides what I have noticed.

Anyone else who knows better and can enlighten us?
