Can't root or install TWRP/CWM

So, I'm trying to root my T-Mobile T999 S3 using this guide:

I'm on the "Flash (install) the Knox Remover zip" in the recovery menu step, and I keep getting the "supersu failed to verify whole-file signature" error. I also get that error when I try to install SuperSU.

I figured that I needed to use CWM or TWRP but I can't get them to install. Odin says PASS but when I press Home + Volume Up + Power, I still get to the old, stock recovery menu.

What do I do?

Download the right file, flash with odin.
Download goomanager from play store, and click your setting button to bring up its menu, select install open recovery. It will download twrp

Ps I use t889 so i havent tryed any of these images, im just trying to help you

Your best bet is to check with your devices home forum. This is the Note 2 forum. T999 is the S3. You definitely don't want to flash our stuff on your device. The main similarity between them is the logo under the speaker.
