Hello All -- Been away for a while
Damn, I took a few months off. went back to MIUI GB because I knew if I stepped away, I'd be blown way when I got back. And I am, Wow great job Areoevan. I know there is a way to fix this but I can not remember. And cant seem to find in in the post or the posts in the general section for all the ROMS. Anywho, my market er Play Store wont download anything. Isnt there a service server that needs to be stopped or something, I cant remember! Other then that, Friggin WOW!

Progress ever so slightly made regarding the issues a particular few are having.
I flashed the newest build and turned the screen off, and it didn't turn back on when the buttons did, which I expected, but when I tilted the phone the buttons rotated, and very quickly.
The phone is still responsive. Maybe it has something to do with the display?
Your v9 ICS kernel runs perfectly for me on gingerbread though.
Is that useful at all to help figure out what our problems are, aeroevan?

Anyone else having problems with Google Music downloading songs? This started in the last few updates (not sure exactly where). I installed 4-20 this morning after a complete wipe and am still getting "Cant download songs right now. Check internet connection." I get this whether Im on my Wifi or data (when I deselect "Download via Wifi Only"). Not sure whats causing it.

Is anyone experiencing garbled text messages? Like weird symbols and missing letters? I did a full wipe and only flashed 4-20 build, gapps and Aeroevan v9 kernal. Reboot fixes it but seems to happen randomly.

You can do that by going to the launcher settings and backing back out.

I believe it first started after I toggled and adjusted auto brightness settings... but I could be wrong.

137Hi, I decided to start an official post here on XDA too since the ICS thread over in general is getting rather large.
Downloads:

- Wipe Data, Cache, and system
- Flash the ROM
- Flash GApps
- Reboot into the system (first boot will take several minutes)
If you are having issues flashing, try a CM9 based CWM:
What's Currently Broken:
- Face unlock may not work until FFC has been used in the Camera app.
- Market download issues: su, and then killall drmserver in the terminal (needs to be done after each reboot if you are still having issues)

18So I got jellybean/CM10 to build, but there are still lots of issues (no audio, softlights, or sensors). But 3G and GPS and most other things seemed to work.
I'm still really busy with other things, but jellybean will definitely happen for our phone
EDIT: I'm uploading the build to a cm10 folder in my goo.im hosting, but you need to rm camera.msm7x30.so, lights.vivow.so, and sensors.vivow.so in /system/lib/hw/ for it to boot.

I'm working on using the new camera blobs, but even those can't just be dropped in. I had to add a few camera parameters in frameworks/base but the preview isn't starting... http://pastebin.com/ZsxsGHcm and the camera app crashes
I have a few ideas, but I had a phone interview today (which went well) so I couldn't break my phone
I've also been working on getting low power audio (LPA) working, but there are still a few bugs there too.
I just sync'd and am doing a fresh build now, but don't expect any magic
