Has anyone found that
the free GrooveIP app (an app that allows anyone to use their Google Voice # to make free wifi called in Canada/US for free) doesnt work properly with Jedi? I notice when i attempt to make a call out
the audio cuts out when the other end picks up but eventually i am able to hear the other end however i am unable to speak back. I also notice that incoming calls dont occur in this app under Jedi. I also find that this app crashes and shuts down.
Under other custom roms and stock roms this app works perfectly...i can make and receive calls and audio never cuts out and i the speaker works fine.
It is as if there is an
underlying bug in Jedi that is causing incompatibility issues with several apps.
I also found that Online Nanodroid will refuse to backup (i did have an external SD card in my phone though) under Jedi. But the same app under other custom roms like Noteorious or stock roms back up just fine. Again, it seems to be an issue with jedi.
I have found a few other apps that are incompatible with Jedi. I just wish the author would look into it. I found he just ignores my questions so i figured to ask you guys to see if others had workarounds.
Right now its so bad i've had to abandon Jedi in begin hunting for other roms that are more compatible with android apps.
And to save some time:
- Yes, i applied the carrier file (rogers) as indicated in the 1st post
- Yes i applied the modem.bin file as indicated in the first post after seeing problems (although my problem -- incompatible apps -- is technically not related to this file) and found my problems were still there
Thanks in advance.
