Hi everybody.

I've ported MIUI ICS for our lovely device, Galaxy Tab.

It's Based on CM9(Thanks to humberos and others). Now it has many problems and I dont suggest it for daily usage.

Bugs:

All CM9 Bugs

Wi-Fi

SD mounts(I think It's a little buggy)

Others you'll be find.

Fixes:


SD Mounts(not fully OK, but better than default):

mount -o bind /mnt/sdcard /mnt/emmc
cd /mnt/emmc/
mkdir external_sd
mount -o bind /mnt/sdcard/external_sd /mnt/emmc/external_sd
Themes:

cd /data/system/
mkdir theme

Yaaaaaaj... fantastic, if cm9 will be done, I mean almost all feature done, and there will be MIUI 4 on it, on Tab... fantastic!!!

Great!!! Can I use this rom in a P1000L? can you explaine me the procedure, I have humberos rom 2.1, GB 2.3.3 2.6.35.13 humberos kernel.

dear sina, I just tested your rom using overcome 4 kernel, and doing a full wipe. quiet smooth and promising. keep on good work
just have a question, I have to mount mnt sdcard as emmc sdcard(last line of your adb command) everytime i restart the tab. Is there anyway to do it automatically, for example putting that in a XML file or something?
I'm not so expert in these thing, any help would be appreciated...

Yes, but you should download and replace kernel with one for your device.
You can download it from here:

If your file system is ext4 and you have CWM, yes.

It's possible, by a bash script in init.d, but I've tried it with no result. I think my bash script had some problems that I wasn't able to fix them.

But It's still present in init.d folder, and I think more talented devs can easily fix it.

Just installed!

Installed and flashed well on my TMobile GT-p1000. Everything is working well short of the obvious problems with card and Wifi!

Any idea when the WIFI will be working? seems like the only thing missing from making this a daily play toy!

I guess that now that cm9 has become so stable it's only a matter of time before this gets updated with the new kernels and builds.

after samsung release ics for their new tabs, i trust our old tab can use ics cm9 miui4 in a few day, just wait and ready for our fruit.
