[Q] Lockscreen-Remove clock and date

Hello,
I have a question, I use the lockscreen, the one who's part of my ROM [ICS] [CM9] KonstaKANG (Android 4.0.4)
in setting is not an option to disable displaying time and date ..
is there any way to remove the clock and date?

I just use this lockscreen, not another app
I tried to remove the clock editing the xml file for the lockscreen, but without success ..

U have to edit I guess the framework-res.apk manually. I'm not sure which file, I don't have a ZTE anymore, sorry

look in values /colours xml, and change the lockscreen clock values to a transparent value.

just for clarity, the values shown are not transparent

And nothing happened,clock is still here, why?
and now the phone freezes..

did you take the arsc from the build folder, and place that into the original framework res apk?

try placing a 1 at the end of the values, like 00000001

could try also the recompiled apk that apktool has churned out and see if that one works.

it shouldn't make it freeze as were only changing a colour value. let me have a faff

edit, I do have a alternative way of sorting this, what would be for me to make a blank androidclock ttf, and replace the androidclock font with a blank version. no txt in font no lockscreen clock.

I've knocked up a blank font, but it only removed the clock, but not the date. back to the drawing board. this will be possible
