Ive been getting crashes for System UI for about 3 weeks now. They seem to happen randomly when I press the home button to exit an app. Thought it may be that theres too many apps cached, but its happened sometimes when i reboot the phone. would replacing systemui.apk fix it? and if so, can someone upload theirs please?

That sucks we need more aosp devs in here. Im still learning to build roms from source. Tried aokp yesterday / today but getting errors..

Lol it is in the works, just been slow last few weeks busy with holidays..

God willing 4.2 source becomes available this month... PA v2.99 is smooth but it lacks in features available in the 2.54 build, BUT with the first 4.2 update of AOKP being release yesterday(here), hopefully PA will start rolling out those lovely, missing options again! ;)

    I have free time this weekend and will be putting up a fresh build of pa u guys. Sorry real life got super busy as well as building a new apk for a client. Expect something very soon and not a port :D

    I have actually come across another way to fix the flickering, which sticks after a reboot.
    I haven't done extensive testing on it but initial usage showed no flickering.

    You will need: A build.prop editor. I prefer rom toolbox but use whatever you please.

    EDIT

    debug.composition.type=dyn
    To
    debug.composition.type=gpu

    debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=3
    To
    debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=2

    Let me know how that goes for you guys.
