Both CM and MIUI developers statet they don't want anyone releasing kernels for their ROMs while they are still ironing out the bugs in their ROMs, so you'll have to wait for new kernels or switch to one of the samsung based ROMs
salam.. men 4 il bakide ishlemishem ve baki ucun cox darixmisham barmek.. does anybody in azerbaijan still remember that company? anyway...
yes. this kernel can be used on any 2.3.4 and 2.3.5 versions, stock or custom.
however some custom roms might have problems with the kernel if they have undervolting scripts.
check out http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1131924
there is a tutorial in that link.
ntfs.ko is in the kernel already. you don't need to put it in your sdcard.
mounting external sdcard with ntfs requires some additional scripts in init.d and it is not automatic.
I'll be working on it in the next version.

Issues: Wiped cache and Dval before flashing and did a Cal when the phone was fully charge. Now after only 3 hours of Medium Low use the battery was totally drain and now I'm waitting for it the fully charge and see what the battery life will be.
There is also a problem with the phone staying connected to 3G and sometimes the reception of the antenna is going down dramatically.
Smartass V2 make you phone very lagy and unresponsive.
Did any of you made changes in the advence's tab?
P.S- How can I detect if there are any programs/apps that are using my CPU (and there for using juice from my battery) without me know/wanting? I suspect that my phone losing power isn't only related to which Kernel or ROM i'm using but also some programs/app that run in the background.
@gokhan
a noob question maybe but where is your script i couldn't find it in system/etc/init.d ?
What init script? The kernel does not install any...

Hey gokhan,
Everything fine with rc3, really amazing battery too!
Today switched to official release and without change anything (I've slightly UV, not much, no OC, UC/UV GPU) I found my phone not waking from deep sleep two times (second time raised mv of lower cpu frequencies)...
Back to rc3 and no issues... It's really the best one!!!

I changed nothing between rc3 and release except for a tiny tweak in smartass governor (a threshold) and 100MHz voltage value.
that should not cause any instabilities.
I recommend you to reflash and try again. this time clear cache & dalvik.
Ok mate, I'll do it...
Here you are my couple of beers for your dedication to this work, thank you again.

How do I stop this kernel from dropping Superuser.apk in my /system/app or su in /system/xbin every time I reboot. I don't mind this happening after flashing the kernel on the first boot. I have applications on phone that will not work if root is present. if I want root, I can always reflash the kernel. I have used other kernels (Like cf-root, etc...) that provide root and they do behave in the matter I mentioned above.
This is great kernel and would love to continue to use it, please help me figure this out.
Thanks.
