hows your data on this build
cheers just updated with cabledet version aswell also what version of android are you running?
I just downloaded desire ver5 and had a question. Do i have to install ver5 first and then replace the new zimage for the charging the phone thing, or can i replace the new zimage before i install ver5?
If I recall correctly, T-Mobile US uses different data plans for Android phones. The plan you have for the HD2 will not work. You need to call T-Mobile and switch to an Android compatible data plan (I think one is called a "smartphone" plan, but am not sure what the other plan type is called). I believe you can switch as often as you like. I have not elected to go through the trouble of switching, and am only testing internet connectivity via Wifi.
1. is being worked on by devs. 2. try the latest zimage by cotulla july 23, see the other thread post 4 for download.I have only 2 issues with Android on HD2 atm, just wanted to know if there is any partial resolution for them.
1. Camera seems limited to 3MP only
2. Battery gobbler. With WiFi and data turned OFF and Advanced Task Killer set to auto kill. It does work and kills all apps, but doesnt seem to make any diff on battery life.
does anyone has exchange activesync configured? mine seems to be receiving email but not able to send. have no problem in WinMo.
Sending also works, no problem. And I can sync all my folders on an Exchange account.
