Hello,

I recently published a light-weight app manager:

##############
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=burrows.apps.appmanager
##############

Use App Manager to easily take care of your apps!
★★☆Please Comment and make Suggestions for new features before Rating!☆★★
App Manager is a light-weight tool designed to simply help the user to batch uninstall and backup applications with the least amount of permissions as possible. The application quickly lists all the installed applications on the user's phone, displaying information about each application, allowing them to view details about the application. From here, user's can chose whether to uninstall, backup or read detailed information about each applcation.
Disclaimer: Apps that are private can not be backed up.
App Manager features:
Uninstall Apps
✔ Click on Apps to Uninstall one-by-one
✔ Check multiple Apps to Uninstall (Batch Uninstall)
Backup Apps
✔ Click on Apps to Backup one-by-one
✔ Click on multiple Apps to Backup (Batch Backup)
Install Apps
✔ Click on Apps from Backups to Install
View Details
✔ Application Information
✓ Application Name
✓ Application version
✓ Application Size(.apk)
✓ Lastest Update
✓ Package Name
✓ Package Source(.apk)
✓ Package Data
FAQ:
Where are my Apps being backed up to?
~/Android/data/burrows.apps.appmanager
Suggestions/Possible Future Updates:
– Allow Root Users to Backup private applications
Permissions requested:
✔ Modify SD Card: Backup apps to sdcard

::::::::::::UPDATES::::::::::::

Question and Answer:

*Why doesn't App Manager back up app data?
For security reasons. Truthfully, I originally created this app to be light-weight application. I would rather not create an application to back up user's application data and be responsible for the data.

*Why doesn't App Manager back up certain applications?
If App Manager did not backup a certain application, the application is most likely a "private" application in which the developer did not want to allow you to obtain the "*.apk". Usually the application is stored in the /data/app-private with less permissions.

So far here is what I have updated(still updating):
- Fixed the miss-spelling in the menu
- Fixed menu location for Android 4.0+
- Fixed "About" app menu section
- Fixed Layout for "Name" arrow position
- Removed buttons that cluttered app for devices under Android 3.0
- Added mass deletion of backups
- Added mass installation

Feature request: Add a way to export to cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) and I would officially drop Titanium backup in favor of this app.

X2, I add a way to export to Dropbox.

Also please post the apk here, I can't access playstore due to country restrictions.

Ok this looks good and simple. But one question: Where are locations of the bkb? If I wipe data/change ROM etc how will I be able to restore the apps?

Noticed that the backup process stops if your screen times out.

Also, if you try to touch the screen to keep it from timing out, that stops the backup process also.

Would like to see whether an app is private or not in the Details section when I click on an app. (That way I know why an app is not showing up in the backed-up apps list).

Also would like to see a "check all / uncheck all / check box" option when restoring apps.

Does this back up the data as well as the app?
