I just saw in miui.es a v4 rom in your name. How's battery life? For camcorder I recommend the cm9 version from 8 or 5 of march to use as base.

You have two way:
1. you use MIUI's Superuser app and you need update system\xbin\su file from MIUI ROM
or
2. you use CM Superuser app and no need any other update
yea I was experimenting w/ some merged builds and had the same problem. I just went to the MIUI File Manager under APK's I had a few versions of Superuser from old ROMs, one of them worked.

I need fix data trouble port miui rom's to defy is easy ... data trouble is my trouble if i port v4 rom and no have data ... no use this rom XD
According to the forum thread on miui.com(and google translate) mobile data has been fixed. This rom has the following bugs:
- camera fullscreen FC(CM9 problem)
- camera FC on first start(problem of official MIUI)
- GPRS starts if you connect the Phone to PC via USB
- ThemeManager cannot replace fonts(problem of official MIUI)
- desktop-fluency needs to be improved
- (and some other things which I don't understand through google translate)

I've been using this in multiboot also, data seems to work fine for me.

Try here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1427959. Maybe u can find something, but i can't compile usable miui's framework. Always get bootloop, or some strange effect on screen.

Les cuento lo que hice: seguí el tuto para hacer el puerto usando la rom de quarx del dia 120308, CM9-NIGHTLY-120308-Defy(hwa) y la version v4 2.3.16 de esta pagina: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1383721. Ademas tuve que flashear el parche de bateria hecho por Auris en el post de cm9. Para la banda base de Defy instale un zip via clockworkmod.
todavia estoy testeando.
Que funciona?:
- Camara: fotos y videos (la primera vez no me anduvo, despues sin problemas)
- wifi
- Datos mobiles
- Youtube
- Almacenamiento USB
Que no funciona?:
- Sensor de proximidad.
- Sensor de acelerometro.
Acabo de termiar de subirlo por si quieren probarlo. El tema del acelerometro es bastante molesto. Espero que podamos encontrar una solucion. Menciono que despues de varias horas, casi 20, se puso un poco lento pero tras reiniciar se normalizo. Cualquier pregunta o sugerencia, soy todo oidos... u ojos. Saludos
Hi to all. I tell u what I did: following the tutorial I merged CM9-NIGHTLY-120308-Defy(hwa) from quarx whit the miui's v4 version from here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1383721. Had to flash the battery fix from Auris which is in the cm9 post (http://www.4shared.com/zip/UR1QUISz/ICS_Defy_Red_Lense_Battery_Fix.html). For bbs I flash a zip via cwm.
What's working?:
- Camera: photo and videos (the first time didn't work. The next time, it did)
- wifi.
- Mobile data
- Youtube
- USB mass storage
What's not working?:
- proximity sensor.
-accelerometer sensor.
I just upload the rom if you want to try. I hope we could find a solution to the sensors problem. After several hours, my defy became a little laggy, but restarting go back to normality. Any question or suggestion, feel free to make it. Sorry for my englesh. isn't good, I know.

But of course Rom has got many bugs, I implemented all CM9 and MIUI v4 bugs into one ROM
If you want help to me and users, PLS post useful feedback. If ICS ROM not working on your device, use STABLE version.
Pls don't post compatibility problem, because some app from market don't like ICS, or don't like CM9 or don't like MIUI.
If you will find solution/apps for CM9 or MIUI v4 on the net, pls post it to this topic,
if you want better ROM to your devices.

changes I made:
- added addon.d
- Removed MiuiLock, RootExplorer and SuperMarket
- Replaced MiuiNotes with english version of miui.us
- installed new touch-bootmenu
- added translated themes from miui.us
- changed default-language to english
- disabled HWUI except for chrome and browser
- using busybox from latest CM9-build to fix adb-issues
Please note that this is based on 19.May CM9-Build where data will be activated on usb state-change.
The only problem is that "AntiSpam" is in chinese and I didn't managed to translate it(Certificate-Error).
However, for me this rom is very stable and has all the features of official v4-roms.4fix g-sensor
