Download Package Samsung Galaxy Ace – How to Unbrick with Cygwin, Odin, Samsung Drivers.exe (48.5 MB)

Install it (It will install it to “C:\cygwin”. Recommended free space in “C:\” = 1GB)
Open Cygwin Guide. Follow further instructions there…

Using Odin:

Connect your phone to PC in download mode (Vol Up+ Vol Down + Power)
Open ODIN
Select PDA, MODEM and CSC
Click start!

I alredy tried this method to split 5830 firmware but it didnt success. I dont know if it's just me.

Will this fix a hard-bricked Ace? Like one bricked by Rom Manager?

I think this will only work with soft bricks and nothing more than ROM spliter which splits one package rom to 5 file format.
I have also faced this situation myself once i had also soft bricked my phone and was trying to flash one package rom(sammobile.com) and found got to it doesn't work. in the end flashed 5 file format rom via odin and resurrected my phone

Have you tried? I already try splitting xme package for my friend's s5830 but it failed.

Hey guys i'm trying to unbrick my phone and odin is stuck on "setup connection". Anyone had the same issue?
I don't know if the drivers are installed and i don't know how to install them. This might be a lead.

Install Samsung Kies to guarantee the drivers are installed. Then never use Kies for anything.

why cant make wipe package for s5830c firmware?

you have s5830c_userdata.img? i think that one is need to make wipe data package for s5830c
