My main problem with the phone is the high battery drain when idle . If idle 5 hours , the audiout_4 wakelock will show 5 hours. Battery drain than averages 3%/hour !!
I have disabled all sounds in settings ( except of course phone calls n messages)
I have also uninstalled some music apps ( Poweramp, winamp)
I am not able to identify what apps are causing this drain
I do not faced such a wakelock in my other androids
Any guidance is appreciated

Here are some reasons:

1. Haptic feedback on 3rd party keyboards
2. 3rd party sound enhancements like dsp manager , volume+ etc

Are you on stock ? Rooted and what kernel ?

I am on stock and unrooted
I have disabled all haptic feedbacks . I have installed vol+ and will try remove it and see whether it helps
Thanks for the tips

From what I know about audioout locks that app could be the main culprit.. Just remove and run phone normal for at least a day to get some new stats

Sent from my HTC Butterfly using xda premium

I'm getting this on my HTC One. I'll try disabling haptic feedback, as I don't use anything else you've mentioned.

Thanks all.

Still getting them, although since disabling location settings in Maps and haptic feedback my battery life has increased massively.

I've uninstalled 'WE7' music app as that's the only one I have installed that's not stock, and may be causing the this wakelock.
