Sorry MooonShine but this is the Themer thread, try looking in the thread relating to your phone type.
Since no one said the answer yet, Rooting your phone is voiding warranty, That means flashing a C-ROM too.
Basically Modifing your phone even in the smallest part will void your warranty.
