I had that problem earlier, wat i did was ticked the use internal storage then rebooted and everything seemed fine, i now have my internal sd card as sd card default instead of emmc as default, so basicaly im back to how it always was a few builds ago :)

The point is, that's a work around not really a fix (the desired fix would be for things to install to /mnt/emmc by default rather than /mnt/sdcard, changing the option in storage just makes the internal sd card /mnt/sdcard again). And it only sort of fixes it, because the Apps are still on the internal sdcard partition instead of the phone internal storage, if you look you have the move to phone option rather than the move to sd card option in the app information.

Well doin what i said i did in my last post worked for me. It says move to sd card instead of move to phone etc.. and all my apps r back to normal, even ES file manager is back to /sdcard/ and TB is back to sd card. (sd card as in internal sd card. I dont have a external sd card)

Edit: see screen shots below

Edit again: if u have a external sd card then u might want it a different way to how i have but as i dont have a sd card and i wont be gettin one my internal sd card is my default sd card and thats how its always been for me :)

Going back to the way it was working isn't the point either, how it was working was wrong, switching it back is a work around as I already pointed out, what I'm trying to say is there is a pointer somewhere that is causing the Play Store to install freshly downloaded apps to the external card rather than the internal card and as a result people are having freshly installed apps disappear, if you dont have an external card installed this problem likely doesn't affect you.

Hum, I managed to get it to work (I have no external sd card inserted). I unticked and ticked the option in settings again, rebooted into recovery, wiped cache, rebooted and bamm! Everything as expected. No idea why it works now. ;)

I totally agree with this right here, I have also found that apps are installing some of their data on the external SD Card once one is present, I much rather have apps install their data on the internal card or "emmc"

I also did a test, if I remove the SD Card and reinstall the app and set it up, the correct thing is done, the apps put their data on "emmc" somehow once the SD Card is present, some apps are putting their data on SD Card, this is not ideal

Very easy. You must fix CameraWrapper.cpp in order to get 1080p recording. However, live effects will still be bluish :D

 Maybe that's why.... didnt look at it. Let me do some more testing and i'll keep you posted. :p

I know, guys, you got serious 'sdcard' (oops, sorry, emmc) problems since it has been fixed:DD I mean, it was really inaccurate calling it 'sdcard' while actually it was an emm-card. To tell the truth, I am not even pretty sure if it is really a 'card', so it will may be more accurate calling it something like 'emmm' as an Embedded MultiMedia and let's say Memory, simply. By the way, it will be much better to switch the mountpoints when it is needed... Yes, I guess it sounds much more precisely when my external is the internal and my emmc is the external:DD

BUT let me post about a minor bug, my favourite one, the Phone app's layout:

It is funny, but in build 0419 when I start the Phone app at the first time and swipe the screen to the right (even if I know that there isn't any tab to the left from the dialler tab, but I like to see as the blue lights or whatever appearing on the left side of my S2's screen), the search button is gone!:)

I have already hated this search button because of its irritating up&down jumping depending on which tab/page it is on. On the dialler tab: search button is rather up, on log or contacts tab: search button is rather down, back to the dialler: up, back to the logs: down, back: up, forth: down, back-up-forth-down c'mon my favourite search butttton, dance!), but now it has a brand new disappearing feature! And after only ONE swiping to the left (to the call log page) and back, it won't disappear again, it's just jumping, fantastic! Until I kill the Phone app! OR rotate the device into landscape at anywhere and then rotate back to the portrait but precisely at the dialler tab/page. Then it's able to gone again! It's very exciting, I hope it will stay with me also in the next builds!

I switched back to using internal storage for apps and media because I like to keep my sd card only for movies and tv shows.

I wish there was a setting to have media go to the external sd card and apps to internal storage.

No it wouldn't, that would be the same thing...i have an external SD card and i dont want it to be the default storage, the setting in storage>storage configuration solves this issue but the thing is that the mount points gets reversed and another thing is that we would have to change this setting every time we flash the ROM if we wipe data/factory reset... the internal storage should be used always as default and pointing always to /mnt/emmc. Most people wants app data installed on internal mem not on the external SD card.

+1.

I think its great that EMMC refers to internal phone memory as it should.

Also great that SDCARD refers to the removal SD card.

BUT, I perfer to have all phone related activity (apps, downloads etc) heading to the internal phone memory and my storage of personal files / music / etc on the removable SD card.

When I do a full wipe, I want all app data and such gone from the phone for a full reinstall but I do not want to delete all my personal files.

This guy is desperate for attention. This is your third bad joke, you're out.

Lol... "Desperate for attention" is not the right expression to use. I'm just trying to change the mood of some people here complaining about something that was OBVIOUSLY warned by Codeworkx before releasing it. Some people say things and complain without even thinking or investigating first. If you dont like it, just don't say anything.
Just don't take it personal, live and let others live too...

Peace...

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    - Choose cm-9-XXXXXXXX-ODIN-galaxys2.tar.md5 as PDA
    - Boot your phone into download mode
    - Connect your device via usb to your computer
    - Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
    - Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished
