It has to be compiled without the numbers. So remove the -v4 from the folders and then recompile it.
Just long press in a text input field and select Input method.

ROM is great BUT MY 3g SUCKS! Everything takes at LEAST 5 min. to load, 3.5 didn't have this problem

Where you're typing a text message long-press an empty area and when a menu shows up choose "input method" and from there u can choose "touch input".

When I do this, I hit *2 and the * disappears and all I have is the 2. I have to backspace and do it again to get the * to stay. Any idea why?
Not a major, earth-shattering issue, but it is mildly annoying, and I have to pay attention, or I'll dial the whole thing and hit call without realizing the * is missing...
Still lovin' this ROM! 
Only regular issue I have is the lock screen freezing up every once in a while when I wake it up with the power button. Press power button, screen comes up, try to drag lock screen and nothing happens. Can last anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds and then it finally responds.

Running Speedtest and it is really struggling.
97kbps and less down 780 up ?
Not a big deal at work and home, because I use wireless, but it does come into play when I'm out and about.

This is not a ROM issue, VZW is growing and some things may suffer while they build/rebuild 3G/4G markets....
That's kinda what I was thinking. After several versions of excellence with SkyRaider, I don't expect that an issue like this would pop up.
Well, when I switch to CM7 or back to 3.5, being in the same spot as I was with the 4.0 does my 3g work BEAUTIFULLY? I have 1x 90% of the time and 3g the other 10.

Sorry everyone. XDA was acting funny last night so I couldn't update the OP all of the way. The links are there now.
I hope everyone enjoys this final edition of SkyRaider Sense for the Droid Incredible. I had a lot of fun making it. Unless there is some glaring bug that needs fixed, this is all she wrote. Check out my sig if you're wondering what I will be up to next.
