It depends if it would help or not, I would advise you to try the .22 radio out even though its European. Can you let me know what radio does your phone have right now? You can check it by booting into hboot.

I'm currently on the 3805.04.03.12...was on the one suggested in mikes thread before i flashed my telco's ruu which includes my current radio.

you had more severe problem on your previous one ? well since you already have used 2 out of the 4 gingerbread radios, I advise you to try out the remaining two as well.

just flashed the 6.03.03 radio, loooking good so far

I have tested all the Radios and 6.03.03 is by far the best of the lot.
I never got a GPS lock on custom Roms with any other Radio but this one gave me my very first lock in less than 5 Sec.
My data connections were very unstable as well on other Radios but this one is rock stable.
Highly recommended if you are facing connection or GPS related problems.

Cheers.

Yes, flashed 3805.06.03.03 radio and it works well even in GPS.

For those who dunno, you can actually use the fastboot command instead of a goldcard to flash the radio.

You can? I believe you need engineer hboot to flash radios with fastboot commands.

Installing the newest Radio gives me a wrong cid error. I bought my Incredible S in Singapore and i am S-Off. Any idea why this error appears?

With the usage of XTC Clips becoming more common & the impending release of AlphaRev X, I've decided to set this up.

gu1dry, could you please adjust your RUU zips to include a lower mainversion?

preferably something really low like 1.00.0000.0.

Some of these zips have:
mainver: 2.21.1400.8

Which might spell trouble for people that attempt at flashing a RUU afterwards (as they're left with a broken RUU and a high mainversion).

Thanks :)

You can, but straight flashing radios via fastboot is extremely dangerous.

Oh, and stop spreading FUD. Flashing radios via fastboot is not dangerous. The radio has it's own integrity checks and won't overwrite if the transferred data is bad. This is on top of the integrity checks done over the USB protocol.

However, on Radio S-OFF it might be. But then again, with a SHIP hboot (not ours), you won't be able to do that.

    Code:
/* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or the end of the world. Please do some research
     * if you have any concerns about flashing a radio before flashing it!
     * YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the
     * finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. */

    How to Flash:

In order for this to work, the HTC Incredible S needs to be S-OFF. Flashing the radio with a corrupt file or interrupting the flash, can brick the device, please proceed with caution.

    1. Download the your choice of radio for the HTC Incredible S.
    2. Make sure the filename is PG32IMG.zip exactly or it will not work and copy it to the same folder as adb (the /platform-tools folder within the Android SDK folder).
    3. Connect the HTC Incredible S to the computer via USB.
    4. On the computer, open terminal and run the following commands:
      Code:
      adb push PG32IMG.zip /sdcard/PG32IMG.zip
      adb shell md5sum /sdcard/PG32IMG.zip
NOTE: The md5 should match up the provide the original download location. If not, redownload & try again.
      Code:
      adb reboot bootloader
    5. The HTC Incredible S will reboot & usually boot into fastboot. Pressing the Power button will put the device into the bootloader.
    6. The bootloader will scan for the radio update. Once it finds the update, select Yes.
    7. Allow the bootloader to finish flashing the updated radio, and reboot the HTC Incredible S normally.

Because this awesome vivo community is still alive, I decided to re-upload all vivo radio's. So you guys can even compare more. You should expect a newer Radio is a better Radio, but it's a bit more personal.
