Good Day and Happy Holidays everyone!

I am wondering if there is a root option for someone who has device encryption enabled on stock?

I am required to keep device encryption enabled by work.

Do any custom recoveries/ Roms work well together when it comes to device encryption?

Thanks! :D

my initial thought would be to root it before setting up the device encryption (corporate email policy i'm assuming, but i could be wrong).

It is the policy at work. I will try to unlock the bootloader, custom recovery, keep stock with root, and try encrypt. The last phone I tried this with, the stock recovery was required to keep encryption working.
