[Fixed Bootloop, Custom Modding] Testing Official ICS Nordic rom by Sony :D

If you get a bootloop prob and the Flashtool shows you this then try the fix below (Thankz to Androxyde & Madyfish)

Fallow this to avoid error and bootloop.

When applying it, replace any files from your installation with the ones in the update.zip

Once applied, in Help -> About you will have 0.7.0.0 version.

To flash ICS ftf, check the "No Final Verification Check" box. Check this box only for ICS bundles as I don't know how it would behave with GB bundles.

Change the titel mate, ICS is now in europe to, i have updated my neo v yesterday here in The Netherlands without any change in the build.prop

Not all europe, 1254-4760 is not listed - I think this is for german market.

EDIT: after using it for some time, I'm thinking about going back to GB. It is great looking, but battery is draining definitely faster under same conditions.

EDIT2: 2 hours after charging and I'm on 75% battery. WTF?!

also in Poland we have offical update, but is same like nordic, slow and lagy on scrolling :/ (Apex doesnt help) and battery drain is terrible on stock kernel -30% after 1h downloading games from google play. Back to fast Ginger

I got the nordic version on my neo v now that is out the official update ,sony ericsson update program saying that i have an non official version,my question is how i can put the official ICS from sony ericsson?

Can we see screenshoot of that error where it says that you have non-official version? Are you sure that is exact message?

It will take a week to get the battery backup at the peak. Just wait and use...

I dont have any rom else than nordic version,not a kernel not anything just the nordic and i cant update anymore from official update><

PS:does it matters that i have the bootloader unlocked?

Then you can't update with pccompanion.
you have to flash with Flashtool.

Friendly advice, next time say exact error. Nothing big, but will get you solution much faster

I knew on which error you mean, but I thought maybe Sony implemented some new thing into it's PCC.

Wow...what means modified software?i think that unofficial unlock bootloader.updating my ics working fine,at same time bootloader still unlocked.

Updated official ics 23/4 through SEUS,all data remains.and again repair 24/4 through PCC,full update,all data lost.

that error appears when someone, who unlocked his bootloader via official way, tries to use PCC.
That's why you was able to update trough PCC.

Every update leaves old data, but every repair is doing wipe before install.

yes, if you wanna use pcc.
it's simple to lock it, and to unlock it again(with same code you used to unlock it)
