Lately anytime I select text in an app (browser, gmail, etc) the application crashes. I am totally stock and unrooted. WTF??

Yes, that is a good possible solution but also one I try to put off. Re installing and re configuring is an ordeal. I also cannot recount the number of times I went that route and the problem persisted. That's why I post here first. That said, it might be the only option left now. Thanks.
Just did a quick check and after some weeks of consistent problem it looks like it may be gone. Strange. Maybe an update to some app that runs resident like Lastpass or something.
