Just to confirm, this is a zip to flash for the leaked ROMS right?
Yes. Someone must test this with AtrICS. I've tested with ICSROM and works great!

Thank you for this epic contribution.

Hit the Thanks button ;)

When it means webtop does it mean a working webtop 3 ?? Sometimes I get irritated bye the names xD

Send from my Atrix.

Hmm, its based on the original one. So, all the bugs are present. Just my opinion, but these bugs are related to the kernel, not the Webtop itself.

Does it work with the original Lapdock?

I tried using my original lapdockwith "The Rom" and it did not work. Somewhere I read that it is only compatible with the newer lapdock, is that true?

Hope I can actually use it with the original lapdock that came with my Atrix 4G...

Hi, can you update the OP with more info about WebTop, please?

I mean, is this THE Webtop (AKA Ubuntu chrooted), or the fake one AKA Tablet Mode (wich is NOT Webtop to me).

Thanks

I am in AtrICS working perfectly in my D00 International phone, but whenever I connect it to my dock and launch webtop I got the message:

"Entitlement check failed"

And I can only enter in WebTop mode if I am connected to a WiFi network. Does this fix that?

"Entitlement check failed" is because you are probably not a paying customer of a tethering plan.

try this.

edit: addition:
I am not familiar with the AtrICS rom but you may need to try make sure WebtopEntitlementService.apk and WelcomeWebtop.apk are in /system/app and have the proper permissions.

I have done full wipes via fastboot and clean ICS installs several times, but still no go with GoogleNow. I get the same error and FC. Fixing permissions, etc. does nothing also.

Also, per this thread > http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1747224 I do not have enough space in /system for GoogleNow to work, (assuming the requirements are the same).

Try using Root Explorer to find and install Velvet.apk in system/vendor/app - this worked for me (it will warn that it is going to overwrite an existing app)

Just realized what's going on: few space on /system/
Dammit, never occured that to me. hahahah. Gonna fix and reupload.:good:

    Edit:
New file [v1.2] is up. OP updated.
There's no need to mess with Webtop files anymore. Working flawlessly as standalone.
Please, report if its working for you.
