later im going back to stock i might give my htc one to someone. but i see a ton of different RUUs how am i supposed to know which i need to download for my htc one.

its hard to tell as you have changed your cid to supercid, did you have google edition or a sense stock rom on your phone originally ?
but as you are s-off, and never go s-on, you can flash any RUU.
in that case you can simply use something like this to return to stock, just make sure you stay s-off, never go s-on: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/ruu_m7_..._10-38r-1157-04l_release_353887_signed_3-exe/
OK cool I will give it a try later. I might get the next nexus and this HTC I will give to my dad. By the way is it easy to flash the ruu?
