Hi, I have a friend that is willing to send me Glass from the US to UK.

Do anyone know how much will i get taxed? (via shipping)

By the way,

I have declared the goods for 500 dollars instead of 1500,

the tax comes up to near 80 pounds.

in germany that would be tax fraud.... and they are very good in finding it out

Also tax fraud in the UK and not hard to spot. Customs are pretty hot on it and all that will happen is they will be taken

Its a grey area,

1. There is no retail price tag on the device.
2. Its not brand new, sold off second hand by a friend. Hence cannot set RRP on the device.
3. Declared it as a "Camera and Video Recording Device" which then is not totally inappropriate. (still a device that does picture and videos).

just my 2 cents.
