But I still can't copy anything larger than 4 gb. Did I miss anything here?

Are u sure its formatted exFat & how did u format it? Did u use a software or Win 7/8? Or did u let the phone do it?

I formatted it with windows 7. Should I format it with the phone?

do u have something like that you can use to connect to your PC? You shouldn't be having that error message, typical when you get that message, you're using the wrong file system. Are you sure that's a legit 64GB card?

I connect the phone directly to the PC with a microUSB cable. The phone says it's connected as a media device. Then I see the phone on my computer as two dicss, one of them is the SDXC card. And I try to transfer the large file and got the error.

What files do you have that is over 4 gigs anyways? Movies? Even then, you should convert to a more manageable size for mobile.

This, thats one of things I've always loved about the Galaxy line. Codecs out the wazoo.

OP convert to divx. I converted the dark knight rises down to 899mb from 6gb and its 720p with dolby audio.
