Small improvement.
No 6.5.3.

It's already too old. I have tried Honk Kong (english) rom which is more stable and of course (almost everything) cooked in XDA.
Try rafivitto's latest rom. It has some bugs but it's the best so far.

Now, copy EXTROM.bin and FLASH.bin from ENG extraction files to RU files (replace). Then run ACER_EUU.exe . How did you extract .exe file with 7zip ?????

New rom is out EN 03.03

and i cant update
It doesnt have extrom.bin and flash.bin.
Only Acer_S200_3.003b.00_EN_03.03.08_3.003.01.amf
Any ideas?

how can you extract the amf file content?

keep the good work ;-)

currently trying to cook a french rom with your kitchen, first build made, flashing is in process...It's really lonnnnnnngggg to flash the device lol

hope it will boot!
thanks for your kitchen if I manage to make something bootable will give you credits and donation! It's a pleasure to cook my own phone roms:cool:

is there a hong kong English versino of this New 3.00 rom?

I am currently using the one below which works good, compared to the EU one,. i kept having hang ups etc on the EU roms.

OS_Acer_2.003d.01.EN.02_WM65_For Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore Only

ive flashed the new rom, seems like small improvements, build is win mo 6.5
5.2.21883.5.0.73

i was having the problem the the phone doesnt wake up, not noticed it yet..

I have a problem with this new rom - Acer_S200_3.003b.00_EN_03.03.08_3.003.01 . Give mi this error : SKU-incopatible ...

Any ideas?

I had the same problem. You have to edit two strings in registry:
HKLM\ControlPanel\ACER\SystemInfo\Software\

and string named Language change from "EN_02" to "EN"
and string named ExtROMVer change to "EN"

hi,
During the operations to flash my S200 (with an official french acer room)
my laptop freezed :mad: :mad:
now, the s200 dont' boot to WM 6.5. and just display the Acer logo :mad: :mad:

The mobile is not recognized now by my PC.
I can't begin again the operations to flash the rom.

Any idea to solve this ? :confused:

1. Turn off the phone. You can turn it off by just removing the battery when on the ACER logo.
2. Take off SD card (as a precaution) and replace battery (if it has been removed)
3. Press continuously and simultaneously camera + power up button. If red LED starts blinking you can proceed with flashing as usual. If after pressing these 2 buttons LED does not blink try to press continuously and simultaneously the following 3 buttons: Volume down + power up + camera.

    I'm trying to update to

    EUU_Acer_S200_3.003c.00_EN_01_03.03.08_3.003c.00_20100203

    I keep getting a sku error as well I went to the registry the string named Language was already EN
    The 2nd string I changed to EN but still getting error. What am I doing wrong? :confused:
