need a copy of verizons radio for rescue attempt

a user has inadvertantly borked his radio,we need to find a copy to try and get his phone working. not having any ruu's or OTA packages yet,we need a verizon one max owner to dump his/her radio and upload somewhere for us.

the radio is partition 34,please dump using the following:
adb shell

su (if you need to to get a #)

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p34 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p34

exit (exit again if you need to, to get back to a normal prompt)

upload the radio image and post/pm a link along with the other info

no prollem,it should be fine. did you have the folloing for an md5?

if so,the following is for the zip i uploaded:
vzw_max_radio.zip ba7f0302040731949a4db3cb0c9c4e98

flash in ruu mode:
-phone in fastboot
-open cmd
-enter:
fastboot devices

fastboot erase cache

fastboot oem rebootRUU

fastboot flash zip vzw_max_radio.zip

fastboot reboot-bootloader

if you see a baseband in the bootloader screen now,thats a good sign

fastboot reboot

Verizon has had no update so should be only stock version 1.11.605.4.

Afh is not liking the recovery or kernel upload from those files. Removed the .bin and also tried them as .zip. Maybe its cause im trying from my phone. Radio uploaded first time just fine.

And thanks for sticking it out rather than taking the phone back and giving the community a bad rap.

Are you going to flash a custom recovery now and if so make sure you get the correct one first. If you still have root you can use the app flashify to flash it while booted into android. Takes the whole partition question out of play.

Oh hell no. I love XDA. I'm not like most people out there. I worked for T-Mobile for over 3 years and it was difficult trying to explain things to people who just expect so much. Not sure where I was going with that, but no. I knew with patience I would have my phone back, and really was only without it for a little over a day. Thanks again to everyone who helped!

I flashed recovery via fastboot and all is good. Now just waiting for RUU and ROMs.

    No problem. Was getting ready to ping you about his prob too...lol

    Dropbox may or may not add a .bin extension to that. The file I uploaded is exactly as it dumped.
