yes aokp is AOSP. it can be used with any AOSP.
i think it has issues with carbon rom not sure.
I flashed in CWM with no problems.
Great kernel so far, what app is everybody using for CPU control? I went from setCPU to STweaks (for the super fine audio control) and now I can't use STweaks so I'm at a loss.
If anyone knows any 3rd party CPU apps that have audio settings and are compatible with this kernel I'd be very appreciative.

Looks like the new builds are using kejars kernel. Doesn't play nice with changing kernels because of included blobs..

It froze at boot every time I tried to flash it on the latest Paranoid Android. And no, I wasn't coming from the Basic Kernel.
It would appear so. Gonna re-flash the nightly and then try this again. I'll report back.My exact problem. Looks like it has to do with us running the basickernal
