Just cant seem to keep data. I reinstalled for a 2nd attempt thinking i fouled up the first time. Data stayed connected less time it took to download one app.

Really? I just downloaded the 04/21 nightly and it downloaded fine. I didn't get a percentage complete bar for some reason but after a couple of minutes it said the download was complete. I just checked my download folder and it is in there. It has a .htm extension which is odd but the file size looks right. If you change the extension to .zip it should flash just fine. I haven't had a chance to try flashing it yet though.

Which version of Gummy is stable? I'm looking at either Gummy or Selfkang and can't decide which is the best stable build for the Droid 4

They're both pretty good for what they are, though I am waiting for the D4 to get upgraded to ICS so that we can have hardware acceleration.

At this point, all the ICS ROMs are forced to use GB kernels, which introduces a few issues (no HW acceleration, data issues, etc). I don't think these ROMs are really getting updated at the moment, everybody is waiting for ICS for the D4 to drop.

All the gummy builds can be found in the goo manager app (in the play store). Look under devs---team gummy----masarati. They list a new build in there every day or two. Gummy was the most stable of the ics rooms in my personal experience.

Works great, smooth response, data is ok for me.

FYI: ROM runs MUCH better after gapps is flashed (I know, I know, i just forgot to flash it the first time around).

EDIT: Nevermind, no data after a couple hours, voice ok.

    GUMMY, The Remodel!!!

NOTE: “Me” (Hashcode) did not do ANY of the major work on this ROM. I only helped get Gummy on the Droid 4 by providing the device setup and patches to support phone data, hard keyboard, and other Motorola specifics. All credit goes to the Team Gummy Devs below. My goal is to support some of the builds on Kejar31’s behalf, and that’s why I’m posting the thread.

Sweet! Thanks Hashcode for porting this. Running really well so far. Very quick. I've switched between wifi and 4g a couple of times so far and it has reconnected just fine. I am going to run this all day today and see how it does. So far so good!

I installed this, and seems to have same issues as other rom with data connectivity :( sigh

Yeah. Pretty sure this, CM9, and AOKP are built off the same source so will probably all exhibit that behavior. Pretty slick ROM though!
