Camera on ICS propably will never work, they dont have drivers and fxp team have more important things to do. Sad... but true.
Camera is a pretty important thing. If UMS don't work, that's bearable, if there's no tethering, okay, but without camera a smartphone is unusable for daily use for most people. If FXP doesn't make a working camera, then their hard, tiring and amazing work will be worthless, because almost nobody will use it. Without camera it's just an exciting experiment.

Hmm now thats interesting a phone with not that efficient hardware atleast compared to x10 has a camera working on MiUi ICS cool..i think just coz it has the new file structure like other 2011 devices lets hope our developers come with a solution to the cam..
One way or another we WILL have camera on ICS...if not by FreeXperia team, by the hands of other developers. That's the whole idea behind XDA...there will always be someone trying to make things work.

listen guys...fxp has actually made an open source driver for camera of x10 (AND THAT TOO WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM SONY....because sony gave libs for 2011 models not for x10)
and you know what that means? if you can compile from source for gb you can pretty much do the same for ics (or even use a wrapper)
it is definitely on j's cards...and i know it that he'll give us camera....so be a little optimistic
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY....TAKE THIS "WILL WE GET CAMERA EVER?" DISCUSSION TO THE DISCUSSION THREAD

No that's not entirely right. There are lot more work to do other than compiling them. You need to hack them so that they would work properly.
The reason why the sources were released to the public is so that those who are interested in helping may get the source codes without any hassles.

about 3D games, I fixed permissions with Rom Manager, they work. I will test some others soon

I have just spoke to J (FXP) and there is no changelog this time round as he has been too busy so apologies.

A: I'm not too sure - I'd blame FXP's libcamera For now, please use WVGA size.
Q: Why no video recording?
A: Short answer: WLOD -> WIP. If you want to mess/play with it, check out rapmv78's work on non-HWA camera.
