Just wondered, is there anyone using one of those 3A chargers to charge their device?
Since Z2 supports upto 3A charging.

Can you link the exact model? I would like to charge it faster but idk what would cause to the battery.
All S801 phones support Quickcharge 2.0, which allows them to charge of currents upto 3A.
Not sure of S800 devices tho.
How quickly would they charge with 3A...
I use 1A through magnetic and it's lightening quick

3A would be twice as fast as the stock wall charger and if yours is 1A, it'll be thrice as fast.
hmm... I may look into this as well then....
Faster charging can't ever hurt can it!
I have a few of these http://www.ianker.com/product/71AN7105-W5A
Says it can output 8A per port. Do you know how to see what current the phone is pulling?
Honestly I have my set via the kernel to only charge at 1200ma max
Why'd you limit it? Secondly the only way to find out is noticing the charge time I think.
True,Faster you charge lithium batteries, you reduce the number of charge cycles. I'd rather charge it slower, especially because you can't change the battery.
Then why don't we have 3A chargers sent with the phone and the "Charge your phone in only 60 minutes" Feature ?
EP880 1.5A!
I live in Brazil, but bought in another country. In Brazil is EP800 with 0.8A, right ?

Has anyone managed to get close to 3A charge rate? the highest i can get to is 2.1A when measured. That is using a data/ power cable FRiEQ, If i use a just power/ charge cable i can just about get to 2A. The sony cable i got with the phone bombs out at much lower.
