Hello all,

Love seeing all the people that are just discovering Reloaded :) Just thought I'd give an update, finishing my last exam tomorrow and will hopefully have a new build end of this month/early may. Hoping to make sure the string bugs are gone, and reverting to stock-style icons by default for next release.

Thanks to everyone that has emailed/PMed/donated in the last while. Will keep you guys updated :)

That's awesome news! Thanks Rob - so I take it this means no more seizure inducing rapid overflow notification (the "flickering plus sign" in teh top left corner of the status bar? :D LOL

I will definitely be sending you some $ (next week as that is pay day) :) as this is a great addition to CM9 which makes me not miss AOKP so much. :D

Wow I just discovered this and man it's awesome.
My only complaints are the status bar/wifi icon changes which will apparently be fixed in the next release, and torch flashlight which doesn't work on galaxy nexus (not sure if it worked before on stock cm9).
One side I noticed was smaller fonts for clock and date, but it's not a big deal.
Keep up the great work OP!

bug/suggestion

Only thing wrong for me :)

Using themes, the color of icons in the status are replaced by the configurated, but in sometimes becomes unrecognizable.
For example, the 3G icon from 3G Watchdog, displays only a white square ( color in the theme is white xD ).

sorry for bad english.

Torch is working for me in cm9 for HTC Sensation by Tamcore (Nightly build). But is there any way to change the signal bars and Wi-Fi bars to stock? I like them more than the ones in this status bar theme because they're easier to look at for my eye.

8 posts back, rob43 has already stated he was going to replace the signal and wifi icons back to stock.

I was wondering if there was something in this mod that would cause me not to be able to make the statusbar image instead of a plain flat black?

I have modified this one like i do all the others to get a statusbar image but it still shows flat black.

TIA

Is it just me or there is no option to remove volume AND brightness slider? Brightness is allways there.

Finally back online, have had a busy May so I apologize for the lack of updates!
Thanks to everyone that sent me an email/notification this past month, I apologize in advance if I don't reply right away.

I had been talking with the cm team in may to port some of the color settings, however I'm not sure of the best way to do that yet with the theme chooser. I have been flashing a few of the cm9 nightlies on my nexus though and I definitely miss a few features :)

Because of all the changes to cm9 especially themes, I plan on starting a new project rather than continue with developing the current version of Reloaded.

I've started using github.com to keep an updated copy of cm frameworks & Settings app along with my changes. This way I'll be able to add stuff to the whole ROM rather than just the UI, and it can be compiled seperately by device to avoid some of the bugs seen in the past.

Will be adding some old reloaded features and some new stuff, I'll be making a new post/thread once I have something to show, will keep you guys updated!

Hey guys, just an update. Progress is coming along nicely, I have gotten a decent amount of stuff done. A lot of people seem to want the nav bar on their phones, so that will definitely be something I add in. I am also working on a very cool feature related to that.

So far I've added bottom statusbar, brightness toast dialog, and some other minor changes (GPS toggle in settings, gradient background, etc). I submitted bottom statusbar and brightness toast to CM gerrit, so some kangs might already have it.

If you must have these features now and compile CM9 yourself, you can edit your manifest.xml and switch android_frameworks_base and packages_apps_Settings to point to github.com/rob43 and it should compile just fine (will include latest cm changes). If you are on a galaxy nexus, fitsnugly's kang already has these features cherry picked.

Hoping to have a bunch more done by next week :)
