"Combined Inbox" (Droid-like) for Desire or Android 2.2? (Or alter. to pure messeng.)

Hey,

I saw a screenshot of the "combined inbox" in Android 2.0 (Droid).

Source: Article on www.boygeniusreport.com

Actually I'm using the pure messenger widget, but I'm not a huge fan of such "large" Widgets.

Is it possible to get the combined inbox feature working on an HTC Desire with 2.2?
Or does anyone know a good alternative to the pure messenger widget?

like:

i'm also looking something like that, cause i have 4 gmail accounts

Combined Inbox

K-9 mail has a combined inbox. Available on the market but imho not the best mail app.

I've always liked the Motoblur style ones where you have Facebook, Twitter, SMS, Email etc messages in one inbox.

Where is it as I really haven't been able to find a combined inbox in any version of Android?

Ok, I wasn't that precise.
I'm searchin for an app to combine all incoming messages like SMS, Mail, Gmail and maybe facebook and twitter, too.

Well actually I'm using the pure messenger widget, but I'm not a huge fan of such "large" Widgets.

For me it would be enough to get notifications in the statusbar or have one "inbox-app" that combines all sources and redirects me to the native app (e.g. gmail, twitter etc.) if i'd like to reply to a message. :/

I think pure messenger widget is very close to your needs, at least I couldn't find myself a comparable, scrollable widget with a combined inbox. I'm using it in combination with launcherpro and it's quite nice but it has also its flaws
