Big thanks to dr87 for the echo and camera fixes he sent me
Big thanks to shingers5 who believes in me ;)

Future Updates - READ THIS!
By providing this ROM I am not guaranteeing that future updates will follow. Due to limits on my time and the fact I have multiple devices I need to keep updated it isn't possible for me to continue providing ROM updates indefinitely. Please do not be under the assumption that future releases will be available (I don't want you to be disappointed!).

Shingers Place - how to and bug fixes

This is the spot where you will find how to flash and also find bug fixes. If any fixes are found please refrain from posting in thread just pm me or @vertigo and we will update it here. Also be aware that this is an an early teaser of the much hyped Omni Rom and it is working quite well. Please be aware of the BETA tags and use precaution. I have listed 2 separate flash procedures as I had issues flashing using CWM on my 32gb model D802. On the other hand vertigo had no issues using CWM on his 16gb D802.

TWRP method used with success on the 32gb D802 international model
* download rom and gapps and save to internal sdcard. If running stock 4.2.2. It will be in your O directory
* boot into recovery using rebooter app free from play store or manually using power + vol down method
* go to wipe menu and wipe slider across to do normal wipe or hit advanced to select what you want to wipe make sure you select to wipe system. Be aware that cache wipe may take a few minutes so don't panic it will complete
* go back to main menu and choose install and choose location where rom and gapps are located. Choose rom zip then add more zips then choose gapps and the supersu zip for root
* once finished choose reboot to boot into rom. This takes about 5 mins.
* complete setup and enjoy the rom

CWM method (touch or std recovery) - used with success on 16gb D802 from UK
* copy rom and gapps to root of sdcard. If downloaded from device I advise to copy from download folder to root do sdcard
* wipe factory data reset
* wipe cache (this can take a few mins so don't panic be patient)
* in advanced menu wipe dalvik cache
* in mounts and storage format system
* main menu choose install and choose from sdcard then select rom and flash
* select gapps and flash and don't forget supersu zip to gain root privileges as well
* once done go back and select reboot system
* wait about 5 mins then go through usual setup
Enjoy the Rom

BUGS FIXES and MORE:

For all those requesting for the variants d800, d801, d803

I would consider trying the kernel from @houstonn thread here and flashing after the rom as I've tried his for the D802 and it works just fine... Don't forget to go and thank him because the kernels are his work

Let me know guys if it works for you....

As for the vs980 give me a few days as I'm trying to bring 4.4 Omni ;)

Thanks for this. Flashed and all good.

That said, I, like many others I'm sure, have been waiting to try this. Honestly I can't see what all the fuss is about. It's feels like a CM with less options.

I'm just giving my opinion. Not dissing.. Thanks again..

Well, I guess that's because not only this build but the whole project is in a beta stage.

Sorry guys but this is the last post in this thread..... I will be closing it as I've got other priorities and my real life kinda takes precedence, I won't have time to update this thread as much as it should be and I'm sorry about that.... Now I'm 100% sure that someone will start another Omni thread soon as its very popular.

So its a goodbye from me for the time being...........

    Keep posted....

Right guys this is the one you've been waiting for :D

    Omnirom 4.4.1

Camera is still 8mp and there will probably be a couple of other issues, but I just wanted to get this build out there, I can now work on adding and fixing stuff ;)

I will fix camera for the next build

    Anyway enjoy it :D
